ALCON,

Over the last three weeks, Regimental HQ, 1-7 HQ and R&DC/DEVCOM have worked hand-in-hand to develop an integrated way forward for ArmA Reforger. We've listened to feedback from troopers across the 7th Cavalry, including players who enjoy being part of our brotherhood across each of the PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

We received a direction from Regimental Headquarters to work together to integrate the two teams in order to bring together two spread teams into one by the end of May.

What follows is our Integration plan.

1. MOS Exposure:
(a) Starting now (and in some cases continuing) troopers from 3/B/ACD will begin cross-training / attending Section Practice with various MOSes in order to get a broad experience of what the Cav and 1-7 in particular has to offer. This will, or can, be achieved through the use of Make-up Section practices.
(b) This may lead to transfer requests which will be managed through the existing PAF Transfer process.

2. Server Acquisition: The plan for servers is (and has been for some time):
(a) Acquire a bare-metal server solution which mirrors the existing capacity for hosting public and training servers, on our terms, with direct administration by S6/IMO.
(b) We're looking forwad to this being implemented as soon as possible, including vanilla and modded public servers, and the same with two training servers.
(c) Once our existing server lease expires, this will be moved to the bare-metal box. There will be 2 public servers and 2 private servers subject to successful testing of the resources we have acquired / intend to acquire.
(d) If/when PSN crossplay is enabled to include mods, the unmodded vanilla public server will be modded into a vanilla plus state, with high expectations in terms of mod stability to ensure we present a strong public image.

3. Modding timescales:
(a) It is 1-7's intent to begin exposure to mods...
