The S7 Department has an opening for the S7 2IC position.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be in good standing with no active negative actions
  • Be at the minimum rank of:
    • Second Lieutenant (O-1) for Officers
    • Chief Warrant Officer 2 (W-2) for Warrant Officers
    • Sergeant (E-5) for Non-Commissioned Officers
  • Letter of Interest from applicant to Command Sergeant Major Nexhex.A, Major Gerrish.T, and Sergeant First Class Cobel.J for review
  • Prepared to serve in the position for at least 6 months or longer
  • Leadership experience within S7 is preferred, but not required
Expectations:

  • You are to help Lead the S7 Department in running the day-to-day operations of the department, the execution of their duties, and with the well-being of the department
  • Help maintain departmental accountability: Ensure that minimum expectations are being met by staff, training is being conducted to standard, and that courses are being run on a regular schedule. Work with Lead Instructors who fail to meet minimum standards using the accountability system.
  • Enforce all departmental rules and regulations
  • Help oversee course development with the S7 HQ
  • Help keep the Wiki up to date for the entire department
  • Track and award AFSM's, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals, and Instructor Badges for the department
  • Perform other duties as required and outlined by the Command Sergeant Major

The S5 Department has currently has openings for the following role:
  • S5 2IC​



Duties and Responsibilities of 2IC
  1. Read and respond to PMs from the S5 department Comms​
  2. Provide monthly S5 departments report for CSC meeting​
  3. Ensure all members of S5 have the correct access to all resources required to allow them to fulfill their job requirements​
  4. Read and respond to external clans that try and reach the 7th Cavalry on our forums​
  5. Track department staffing and advise on staffing levels​
  6. Be ready to talk with external clan members on Discord (and/or Teamspeak if applicable)​
  7. Personnel Accountability - Work with S5 HQ to monitor transfers, LOA's, ELOA's, AWOL's, PAF Logs, and Discharges for changes to Departmental strength.​
  8. Ensure the ASFM tracker is up to date.​
  9. Verbally Counsel Staff Leads/AO Leads as required to ensure adherence to rules/regulations/policies/codes.​
  10. Ensure disciplinary documentation is reviewed and sentenced where appropriate.​
  11. Any other duties assigned by the 1IC​



Minimum Requirements

  2. Minimum rank of PFC​
  3. S5 Experience is preferred but not mandatory​
