Alpha Company 1-7 is accepting applications for an Assistant Squad Leader position for a Rotary-Wing Aviation squad in First Platoon Alpha Company. Anyone interested, regardless of meeting all formal requirements, is encouraged to apply. ( The squad 2/1/A/1-7 )

Your Duties:

  • Handle all administrative duties related to the role of an Assistant Section Leader
  • Be present and available for your troopers' needs
  • Assist the Section Leader with tasks and duties as may be delegated to the Assistant Section Leader
  • Maintain the gold standard of section practices we provide in Alpha Company First Battalion.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Listed below is the process and requirements for billet selection for ASL for all Troopers across the Regiment.
    • Be in good standing with no active negative actions.
    • Maintained the MOS billet 153A for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
    • Be at the minimum rank of Private First Class or higher upon recommendation.
    • Submit a letter of recommendation from your current SL as well as a letter of interest.
    • Applications received prior to April 5th will be reviewed by Company Staff.

Do you want to give back to the Cav but aren't sure how? Recruiting is a great way to do that! Recruiters are the face of the Regiment. They are the first point of contact for most prospective members. By joining the Regimental Recruiting Department, you will not only be able to help find new recruits, but you will also be able to help facilitate their entry into the Cav once they've decided to join.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must hold a rank of Private First Class (E-3) or higher.
  • No active LoR/Article 15/32 or have not received one in the past 3 months.
  • Preferably have relevant recruiting experience
SENIOR RECRUITER DUTIES:
  • Assist potential or new recruits as and when required.
  • You are required to log at least 2 hours per week in a single session during peak time for either North America or Europe, both attempting to pop the server and recruit members. For further information on this, see RRD SOP: Recruiting on the Public Servers.
  • ICS and train new recruiters on policies and procedures within 7 days of them joining the department.
  • Post Biweekly AO roll-call. Monitor biweekly roll-call for accountability.
  • Assist and support recruiters as required.
  • Submit a Monthly AO report Via the official RRD Staff Communications thread. In this, report any failure to sign roll call, or failure to complete mandated duties for your troopers.
