[S5 Social Media] 24-Hour Operation – Livestream Information
S5 Public Affairs Social Media S5 Social Media is pleased to announce that livestream coverage will be provided for the upcoming 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment 24-Hour Operation, taking place from 02OCT26 through 03OCT26. Throughout the operation, S5 Social Media will aim to provide continuous coverage for as much of the 24-hour period as possible. Due to the duration of the event and the availability of personnel, uninterrupted coverage for the entire operation cannot be guaranteed. However, every effort will be made to maintain coverage and showcase the operation throughout its duration. The livestream will feature perspectives from across the operation, providing viewers with an opportunity to follow participating elements and see the event develop over the course of the 24 hours. The operation is scheduled to begin on 02OCT26 and conclude on 03OCT26. The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment, often referred to as "7thCav" is a long-standing Military Realism (MILSIM) unit that primarily plays first person military shooter/simulation games. The Regiment was founded in October 2002, making it one of the oldest clans in the areas the Regiment covers. We have over 500 active members within the Cav across games like Arma 3, Hell Let Loose (PC & Console), DCS World, Ready or Not, and now Squad. We are focused on tactical realism and immersive game-play, utilizing military training, tactics, and procedures that have been adapted for use in the virtual world. If you decide to enlist you must be 18+ years old with no game or VAC bans within the past 5 years for any reason. Pilots Wanted! | DCS World | A/ACD
Help populate our DCS Tactical Public Server or participate during a curated mission! This mission occurs weekly on our DCS operations every Tuesday at 0100Z and Saturday at 0000Z for 2 hours. S3 Operations/Public Staff will conduct an official operation open to the public. S3 Mission Controller will need to record attendance and post an AAR per standard Cav operation SOP. For all leadership slots, this is a great opportunity to gain battlefield leadership experience for ALL members, no matter your level of experience or rank! Notify S3 if you wish to participate in combined arms for ground roles operating armor, SAM sites, or logistics.

Baker Company is accepting applications for an Assistant Section Leader position for 4th Section "Old Reliables" in 2nd Platoon (D/2/B/2-7).
Everyone interested, regardless of meeting all formal requirements, is encouraged to apply.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be in good standing with no active negative actions
  • Maintained the MOS billet for a minimum of 30 days prior to selection.
  • Be at the minimum rank of Private First Class or higher upon recommandation.
Waivers on requirements available per 2BN HQ. Submit an application upon position opening and follow the application process unless Company/Platoon staff select an ASL to fill the role. Candidates will be reviewed by Staff. The application deadline is 15MAY25 @ 0400Z.

  • Daily Duties
    • Take Care of Troopers - When on Discord be available for your troopers. Be prompt when responding to requests for assistance over Discord or the forums. Spend time with troopers in your section.
    • Make an effort to meet with members of the Section to build a rapport and ensure a positive working relationship with them.
    • Spend time with troopers and leadership within your section.
    • Ensure information is passed up and down the Chain of Command in a timely manner.
  • Weekly Duties
    • Accountability - Ensure you are attending and assisting to lead your Section practice each week.
    • Counseling - Provide guidance and counseling to Section members as required.
    • Roll Call - Ensure Section roll calls are up to standard and are posted in the appropriate area of the forums no later then 0100z Monday unless otherwise dictated by Battalion Policy
    • Reporting - Ensure your weekly SL report is submitted on time 0100HRS Zulu every Monday.
    • Recruiting - Constantly encourage the recruitment of members on our public servers.

The C/ACD 1SG position is available, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to fill this role.

The following are the requirements for the position:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be in good standing with no active negative actions.
  • Be at the minimum rank of SGT
  • Letter of interest from Applicant to Nexhex.A, Preacher.A, Ryan.BF, Budd.D , and Maddox.D
  • The final selection is approved by the ACD Sergeant Major in conjunction with the C/ACD Company Commander

  • Daily Duties

    • Take Care of Troopers - When on Discord or Teamspeak be available for your troopers. Be prompt when responding to requests for assistance over Discord, Teamspeak, or the forums.
    • Make an effort to meet with members of Platoon Staff to build a rapport and ensure a positive working relationship with them.
    • Spend time with troopers and leadership within your Company.
    • Administrative tasks - Ensure transfers, AWOLs, PAF Logs and discharges happen in a timely manner, and monitor them for any changes to the Company Strength.
    • Counseling - Issue appropriate counselling measures as required to ensure understanding and compliance with all rules, regulations and minimum expectations.
    • Promotions - Follow Regimental SOP in regards to promotion recommendations passed up from within the Company. Perform spot checks to ensure no one who meets promotion requirements has been overlooked.
    • Ensure information is passed up and down the Chain of Command in a timely manner.
