Alpha Company 1-7 is accepting applications for an Assistant Section Leader position for a Rotary-Wing Aviation Section, in Alpha Section, First Platoon, Alpha Company. Anyone interested, regardless of meeting all formal requirements, is encouraged to apply. (The Section: A/1/A/1-7 )
Your Duties:
Handle all administrative duties related to the role of an Assistant Section Leader
Be present and available for your troopers' needs
Assist the Section Leader with tasks and duties as may be delegated to the Assistant Section Leader
Maintain the gold standard of section practices we provide in Alpha Company, First Battalion.
Minimum Requirements:
Listed below is the process and requirements for billet selection for ASL for all Troopers across the Regiment.
Be in good standing with no active negative actions.
Maintained the MOS billet 153A for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
Be at the minimum rank of Private First Class or higher upon recommendation.
Submit a letter of recommendation from your current SL as well as a letter of interest.
Applications received prior to May 10th will be reviewed by Platoon Staff.
The Office of the Chief of Staff is looking to take on potential candidates for the Special Projects Division (SPD) as a Coordinator, which will result in a transfer to SPD as a Primary Billet. This is an OPEN application to determine who is interested and to be put on a waiting list until a new Coordinator is needed.
Requirements
Currently in good standing with no NFA
Be a current Active Duty Trooper
To either be a current or former:
Corporal (E-4) for Enlisted/NCOs
Warrant Officer 1 (W-1) for Warrant Officers
2nd Lieutenant (O-1) for Officers
Interested in leading Starter Platoons and working with a multitude of departments, games, and troopers of all billets
About the Role
SPD Coordinators function as an arm of the Aide to the Chief of Staff in administrating, tracking, and managing Starter Platoons. More specifically, you will be focusing on supporting the Aide to the Chief of Staff in promoting the growth and health of new games and supplying information and metrics the Chief of Staff may require to track the growth of the new AOs. You will be expected to come up with solutions to uncommon issues that come up with every new game as no Starter Platoon is the same, and work alongside Auxiliary Combat Detachment (ACD) Battalion staff in order to ensure games are seamlessly transferred into the Regiment. As an SPD Coordinator your role and placement may be subject to change as priorities within the Regiment shift.
