Announcement $1000 Donation Drive for Arma 3 Servers - ENDED

On behalf of the Cav and all of 1-7, we're please asking for donations to renew our current Arma 3 servers. Here's a message from CSM.Nexhex.A about it:
Donations: Hey All, in an attempt to be more transparent based on the recent postings by many, I setup a specific donation drive for 1-7 Arma Servers. It costs $2250/annually and we are hoping to raise $1,000 as the fee is due March 1. This wont dictate if your server gets turned off, but it does dictate the quality. For the price we pay annually we get better servers but we pay up front. If we don't have the funds upfront then we have to pay monthly, and if you pay monthly its more expensive and we would have slightly worse quality servers. I know we keep talking about donations but we have to rally now. I am looking for all of you to help push this rally. If someone can spearhead it and post an announcement in the 1-7 Announcements thread it would be greatly appreciated.
This is to maintain our current servers not upgrade them. Just for clarification!
Any amount will please help! The quality of TacR and 3 other private training servers is one of the best perks of being a member of 1-7 (and the Cav), and we can't take that for granted. If able, let's please do our best to help out and keep what we have. The only way we can do that is by relying on the generosity of our membership!

1/1/C/1-7 ASL Position Opening - CLOSED
Assistant Squad Leader Opening
Charlie Company 1-7 is accepting applications for an Assistant Squad Leader position for an airborne infantry squad in 1st platoon, callsign "BANDIT" in Charlie Company. Everyone who is interested regardless of meeting all formal requirements are encouraged to apply. ( The squad 1/1/C/1-7 and SP is on Tuesday at 0200z )
Your Duties:
- Balance administrative duties and section practice planning with the section leader
- Be present and available for your trooper's needs
- Maintain the gold standard of section practices we provide in Charlie Company First Battalion
- Foster leadership development within the platoon and encourage active participation in operations and extracurricular areas
Minimum Requirements:
- Listed below is the process and requirements for billet selection for ASL for all Troopers across the Regiment.
- Be in good standing with no active negative actions.
- Maintained the MOS billet 11B for a minimum of 30 days prior to application.
- Be at the minimum rank of Specialist or higher upon recommendation
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your current SL as well as a letter of interest to myself and Sergeant First Class Ocean
