Pros:
  • Crew performed well
  • Target prioritization was excellent.
  • Ammo conserving was excellent

Cons:
- Command giving broad callouts, flooding comms, and confusing crew. Multiple tanks are in a position, you cannot say "tank over there" "Tank behind yall" when there are multiple friendly tanks facing every cardinal direction. Either say "Command to Callsign" to ensure proper communication, and not cause every tank to then rotate themselves 180, creating much miscommunication. We also have TCs watching flanks.

- Attack commands where unclear "tanks full push to Obj" to then be told to wait until other tanks show up. For tanks that are ready and pushed, are now stuck in the frontlines by themselves w/o the rest of the element.

- This is more of a preference, but in the early stages of the FTX, Armor crews were almost being shadowed by command via comms, being told exactly when to turn/where to go. This doesn't allow tank crews the freedom they need to operate effectively, or respond to dynamic situations (it also confuses/floods the shit out of comms). Rather tell the tankers to move to a general area and overwatch a position, but don't try to guide their every movement. At least I was aware of where to break in from through the pipes but my comms were flooded anyways.

Overall a fun FTX! Also a big congrats to the Goat Moe.

Pros
    • Good relay communications overall
    • Medics performed well
    • Strong pace throughout the operation
    • Smooth execution with only minor issues
    • Effective movement and coordination on the ground
    • Clear and useful callouts in most situations
    • Positive experience working alongside armour
    • High enjoyment across the board ("good fun", "had a blast")
    • No major negative issues reported in multiple cases
Cons
    • Communication between IFV and infantry needs some improvement
    • Boarding and dismount procedures need clearer comms
    • Dismount timing was late in some instances
    • Infantry too close to IFV during dismounts (safety issue)
    • Poor coordination between tanks and IFV
    • General comms clarity needs tightening across elements
    • Some minor hitches during execution
    • Consider separating IFV and infantry elements for better control/training since that is what we are doing during SPs now.

Pros
  • The lenght of the operation was perfect
  • Everyone in the element had fun
  • Experienced almost none of the track bug, only once
  • Communication in the element on point
Cons
  • Communications in the command chat needs to be clear. I know that we are still learning the proper way of doing it, but I feel that "Tanks behind us" is too wide of a concept
  • The amount of text in the OPORD was heavy and I believe this made it confusing for the elements to which area they need to be in, in the different stages
  • Personal opinion would be to rush less and create organized columns when moving between objectives. Now we were just told to rush objectives which created a lot of spacing between different elements

Pros
  • Great teamwork between Tanks, IFV & Infantry.

  • Everyone in the section said they had fun and enjoyed the FTX.
  • Nice ceremony at the end.
  • It was nice to see Maddox back.

  • Would have like to have more objectives for the infantry to do.
  • Not enough troopers from 1st Platoon attended.
