Element Callsign: Allied Commander
Element Leader: Staff Sergeant Lee.N
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • VERY fun!
  • First half-track lasted the entire game.
  • Half-track, tank and airhead call outs were amazing on Allies.
  • AT guns galore, too bad we could only have three.
  • Slagg yelling callouts that were beyond accurate is always encouraged.
Cons:
  • Pings were left for a while, but when mentioned, they were cleaned up quickly.
  • As always, Luchs disadvantage vs T70. Single Tiger for Axis assisted, but they were taken out quickly.
  • Single half track rule needs to be clarified; the Axis had one on the field that was stuck and unspawnable. Does that mean that they had to kill their own half track in order to use another?
    • Needs work in the future
  • Command comms were useful but cluttered.
  • First game I have commanded in a while, I will happily take advice on how to command better.
  • Allied tanking was fantastic, but saw them over extended several times which yielded a period of time with minimum tanks.

Element Leader: Corporal Slagg.J
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Recruit Beckner.Z

Pros:
  • Fun FTX, good ruleset, not too complex but fun and engaging.
  • Solid Intel/Recon work. we passed solid info and disrupted the enemy effectively.
  • Great team coordination between all units, effective engagement of enemy targets and reaction to their movements.
Cons:

Command comms were effective but need to be more concise and to the point.

It started strong sharp comms, good coordination, and a solid push that actually worked. For the first minutes, everything clicked. It felt like we had control.
Then we lost mid and everything unraveled.
What followed was a full retreat from reason. The team began funneling into the same kill zone on repeat, like NPCs with a pathfinding bug. No flanks, no second thought. Just wave after wave of frontal assaults straight into enemy fire.
Meanwhile, the enemy didn't even rush. They walked flanked wide, set up overwatch, and cleaned us up like they'd seen it happen a hundred times before.
It stopped being a fight. It became a meatgrinder and we lined up to feed it.

Pros:
  • Squad communication was good, movement was excellent and following orders were on point.
  • FTX was rough at the beginning but was fun and entertaining by the end of it.
Cons:
  • The restriction of roles to use was a bit rough for us, Mosins had a tough time actually shooting people.
  • The usage of halftracks. I mentioned it in the hotwash but the bending of rules whenever we want mid game shouldn't be a thing. I understand that Mission Controllers are allowed to whatever they want inside the operations/field training exercises but that plays with how people play and the overall morale in my opinion.

Element Callsign: Allied "Dog" Tank Squad - Tank Callsign Blood Spire
Element Leader:
Specialist Sibley.K
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist Sibley.K

Specialist Borek.T
Specialist Richman.A

Pros:
  • Squad handled complex instructions & responded appropriately to rapidly changing battlefield conditions. Really good work by both tankers executing directed commands.
  • Infantry support & local voice comms were great for requesting assistance (e.g. "enemy squad in the building across the road!")
  • Teamwide response to threats was excellent. Squads responded to enemy armor callouts & to flanking elements.
    • At one point our tank was being pincered by two enemy Panzer IV's. We received instructions from command to defend & we were able to pull back into cover long enough for friendly tanks to flank and support. Overall the brawl was a spectacle and both sides came away licking their wounds.
Cons:
  • Command comms had great callouts & useful information, but we need to work on brevity.
  • Troopers need to continue working on mechanical fundamentals. Ricocheting shots & occasional stall-outs can cause the tank to be lost.

Element Callsign: Allied Armor Lead - "Cheap and Easy"
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Sotelo.R
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Second Lieutenant Sotelo.R
Corporal Williams.S
Specialist Giglio.M

Pros:
  • The Cheap and Easy crew popped OFF! Went on a deep flank to take down 2x P4s and a Half-Track in a T-70. These boys went crazy.
  • Armor platoon as a whole was absolutely stellar. Stuck to the game plan, even as sucky as it was at times, and allowed us to stockpile Fuel for the late game. Had no issue funding tanks by the end. Multiple moments from each crew taking the spotlight and getting the job done.
  • Tanks across the platoon covered their sectors, effectively suppressed the enemy attacks, and helped take over St. Mary after losing the initial fight.
  • Soviet infantry and recon did an amazing job feeding intel and request for support. The tanker success came from their callouts.
Cons:
  • It seemed all crews had moments where we lost gunfights due to ineffective execution of fundamentals.
  • Platoon comms got a bit congested and chaotic, requiring some polish and more practice

Element Callsign: Axis Recon
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Maines.Z
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Second Lieutenant Maines.Z
Specialist Atkins.DS

Pros:
  • Strong start, Flares and finding their Garrison within first 20 minutes was beautifully executed.
  • Fun concept, plain and simple. See below for exception
Cons:
  • After losing midpoint, EVERYTHING crumbled. It became a meatgrinder with no signs of stopping. Since Allies could not cap last point, they resorted to just camping the line and not letting anyone through. One of the FOUR enemy tanks just sat off in a hill and watched for any movements and just killed everything they saw. EXTREMELY unfun.
  • Lack of more than one garrison is an interesting concept, but might not be fun in the longrun, as its quite easy to just camp it until it gets moved.
