    Our 7Cav fixed wing pilots are the greatest in the whole world. They are so good, I even recommend they elevate next level to Rotary Wing!

    This is why I say what folks did after 2018 is easier, it's not easy by any stretch, but it sure isn't the bitch and half it used to be.

    That said our FW brethren don't have it easy either. Their new 9-lines, out of the FACC are 5x harder than our 5 lines. It's all about keeping things in perspective.

    did u stick a fork into a electrical wall socket again? (trying to keep our banter down to a minimal roar as to not offend anyone, but still feeling the need to banter as a morale booster, if not just for us)
    The top 5 most beautiful modern US fighters are 1) F-22 Raptor, 2) F-16 Viper, 3) F-18 Super Hornet, 4) F-15 EX Eagle II, 5) F-35 Panther / Fat Amy...in that order.

    ICYMI- The Cav Cast with GOA Chance is really fascinating. Really appreciate how he emphasized our Cav Rules and Standards. MUST SEE
    We have the greatest fixed wing pilots in the whole world. As a rotary wing pilot, I'm always extremely impressed by how fast they get on the bird when we CSAR them.
    Our Fixed Wing pilots are the greatest in the world...which is why it's so flattering they revere us Rotary Wing pilots so much.

    well I'm pretty sure I can guess who, or is it whom? Guess my "talking to" is upcoming... oh noes. If I get done PT early today I'll gun for you in the Op and we can thither in the cockpit.. again. I tell ya the choices are difficult, abuse myself in my gym or drink beer and bad mouth people , I mean fly in an Op. Choices, choices.. ;)

    Sadly the gym and setting up my DN60 iceboat won out today. I might have made the wrong choice, but I'm sailing tomorrow.. so maybe it was the right choice. ?

    i got a Rift for my company so I can virtually see what clients are looking at. Slowly being seduced by DCS VR.... bought the a-10 in 2012 so it was 19 bucks to upgrade, but damn that AH64 module is looking some sweet. Now if I could figure out how to bill clients for hours while playing DCS.

    Talented Squad Rotary pilots can fly backwards. I remember in the E/2-7 days when we would scrim 23r or Rally...some of those dudes were so good at flying that in set up they would fly around backwards to assert dominance.

    Berg.J ... Yes! ... 4/1/A/1-7 has the best fixed wing pilots in the whole Cav!... almost as good as our rotary pilots!! And the best FACs, at least for those certified FAC's, who took the course lol. I will keep close eye on the calendar and let you know when the next FAC class is so hopefully one day you can pass it and join us elites :sneaky:
