Come and play Squad with us! Every saturday @20:00UTC
The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment, often referred to as "7thCav" is a long-standing Military Realism (MILSIM) unit that primarily plays first person military shooter/simulation games. The Regiment was founded in October 2002, making it one of the oldest clans in the areas the Regiment covers. We have over 500 active members within the Cav across games like Arma 3, Hell Let Loose (PC & Console), DCS World, Ready or Not, and now Squad. We are focused on tactical realism and immersive game-play, utilizing military training, tactics, and procedures that have been adapted for use in the virtual world.
If you decide to enlist you must be 18+ years old with no game or VAC bans within the past 5 years for any reason. Please review our Minimum Requirements for Enlistment so you are aware of our expectations before applying. If this interests you, please enlist here and/or join our Discord.

The Wiki Administration Group is looking to fill one position for the Administrator in Training [WAG AIT] role. In this role you will complete tickets as assigned by the WAG 1IC and 2IC. Tickets may range from small changes such as URL fixes or updates to names and dates, to massive projects spanning the creation of several pages. You will be expected to communicate with the ticket submitter and be able to advise changes professionally and courteously when necessary. Due to the nature of the "In Training" role, it is expected you will work closely with Senior Staff of the WAG department in your duties until your proficiency meets departmental standards. Please review the WAG R&P page for more about the expectations of the role.
Prerequisites:
Minimum rank of PFC/WO1 for Enlisted/WO, and 2LT for Officers
An example of your competency in professional text formatting, BB-Code preferred
An example of your literacy and ability to write efficaciously
Any ideas you presently have to improve the Wiki
Applications will close once the positions are filled. For any questions regarding the application process, please reach out to MAJ Cass or CSM Nexhex.
The Wiki Administration Group (WAG) is looking for a new First in Charge (1IC) to head up the upkeep and maintenance of the Regiment's Wiki.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assign tickets to Wiki Editors as they come in on the ticket system;
Edit wiki articles either when requested (ticket system), or take on your own projects (keeping IMO informed) to better the Wiki, or if mistakes are found;
Delete pages on request;
Advise the Commander IMO and Commander 7th Cavalry Regiment of Wiki capabilities and limitations; and
Produce policies and procedures about WAG when required.
This job, like many, is a leadership role. However, while we are opening it to any MOS, you must already have some knowledge of how to edit the wiki. WAG is a very small department, simply due to ticket volume being comparatively low. This means you could be expected to share the workload of the tickets between yourself and the editors. But let's not kid ourselves, editing a wiki is extremely simple, however, you need to come in with baseline knowledge. This is a department head position, and as such it requires a high level of maturity, commitment, self-driven initiative and professionalism.
Qualifications and Pre-Requisites
Must have used MediaWiki or similar software previously;
Minimum rank of SGT for Enlisted, 2LT for Officers (as per 7CAV-R-005, Chapter 4, Section 3, Table 1);
Keen attention to detail;
Proficient in writing in English, especially in the tone of a wiki article (Past...
