Effective immediately, General Staff has updated the Discord Code of Conduct to clarify expectations around the use of alternate Discord servers. Our core policy remains unchanged: no private Discord server is permitted to be created or exist for the purpose of anything related to the performance of Cav duties.

To support consistent enforcement, we have added more detailed language outlining what constitutes alternate or private server use and how it applies within the Regiment. This policy can be found here: https://wiki.7cav.us/wiki/Discord_Code_of_Conduct#5._Private_Discord_Servers.

It used to read: "While we cannot and would not stop people from creating private servers, no private discord server is permitted to be created or exist for the purpose of anything related to the performance of Cav duties. Use only the official 7th Cavalry Discord Server for any Cav business..."

It now reads: "While members are free to create personal or social Discord servers, no private Discord server may be created, maintained, or used for any purpose related to the execution of 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment duties. On unofficial Discord servers we cannot enforce our rules, and therefore a situation can develop which subverts our rules, regulations, Code of Conduct, and/or the Chain of Command.

This prohibition includes, but is not limited to:

• Any private server containing multiple Cav members discussing Cav duties, issues, people, or events.
• Any use of Cav imagery, branding, unit names, ranks, or organizational structure in a private server.
• Any attempt to coordinate, plan, or conduct Cav-related work in a private server.

DEVCOM is proud to announce that the WARDOGS Starter Platoon is officially open, and accepting transfers and enlistments.

Congratulations to all those who were involved in the planning and execution of this Starter Platoons creation. From the early research & development completed by our hard-working FCC Staff, to the selection of leadership and coordination with all other 7Cav support teams and departments by DEVCOM HQ. It was truly a team effort.

A special congratulations to Taylor.C who was selected as the DEVCOM Lead and will be the Starter Platoon Leader for the WARDOGS AO.

You can grab the WARDOGS channel via the 'Roles & Channels' area on discord. We hope to see you in the closed beta starting shortly, and on opening day (SEP 10th).

Please submit a transfer PAF, selecting 'Start Up' and indicating you want to transfer to the WARDOGS AO.

If you are not currently a member of the 7thCav. You can submit enlistment paperwork, selecting WARDOGS as your game of choice.
