One year ago today, on 13 June 2025, 3rd Battalion stood up as the newest Battalion of the 7th Cavalry Regiment.
What began as a small contingent of dedicated troopers, coming out of a difficult and all time low at the start of 2024 on a rapid success and growth journey, turned into a Battalion with its own identity, traditions, and legacy through hard work, commitment and effort by everybody on the road to battalion in 2025.
Over the past year, the troopers of 3-7 have participated in countless operations across every theater and every environment our game has to offer. We have fought through campaigns, public operations, field training exercises, competitions, and community events. We have welcomed new recruits, developed future leaders, and overcome every challenge placed before us. The success of this Battalion was never built by a single Commander, First Sergeant, Platoon Leader, or Section Leader.
It was built by every Trooper who showed up week after week.
It was built by the countless hours spent on teaching new players and members.
It was built by every leader who stayed late to mentor subordinates.
It was built by every recruiter who brought new recruits into the AO.
It was built by every Drill Instructor who bootcamped new recruits.
It was built by every NCO who invested time and effort into making their section, squad, platoon, company, and Battalion better than it was the day before.
Every operation attended.
Every public server hour played.
Every SP hosted.
Every task completed.
Together, those efforts formed the foundation upon which 3rd Battalion stands today. As we celebrate our first anniversary, we also recognize those who helped build this Battalion from the very beginning.
