Pros:
  • No Pros
Cons:
  • Very Boring
  • when getting called over to help only when we get there the CLS already has the person up and kicking due to them running the exact same kit as we do as PLT medics taking away from us
  • (not really a CON) Be an interesting tactic to have PLT medics be attached to the line units when there is 2 different elements so instead of PLT medic and 2 asst. have 2 different teams of 2 but one is overall in charge instead of just setting up a localized CCP and getting dispatched out

Pros:
  • Excellent operational scope and scale. Great AO choice and mission set. Supporting elements in contact was an excellent setpiece.
  • 0 Black tags for Bandit 2 the entire operation
  • Squad punched above our weight all OP in spite of being plagued by disconnects.
  • Excellent coordination with Bandit-3, Planning and De-confliction between our sections was on point all night
  • Great work by Helios putting holes in an absurd number of walls for us!
  • The mantra of "Slow is smooth and smooth is fast" was the theme for the OP.
  • SOSRA was employed to excellent effect in conjunction with Helios.
Cons:
  • Disconnects killed Buddy Team accountability tonight. At one point I had 7 Troopers in the section but 4 on my squad radar.
  • I got shot by a MG that had suspiciously red tracers.....
  • Missed opportunity for some mortar flare support.

Sustains:
  • Excellent Operation overall. Including planning, map choice, settings. The entire squad had a fun time.
  • CQB Heavy Operation had plenty of fans in Bandit 4.
  • Great SBF position, first initial setup on ORP.
  • Excellent buddy teamwork and overall fireteam cohesion.
  • Great communication from fireteams to SL.
  • Captain Hillberg room clearing a building with a MAAWs.
Improves:
  • Better communication between fireteams during combat.
  • Better SL Platoon information relay to Squad involving phase lines, friendly's, etc.
  • A few times Bandit 4 was extremely bunched up entering buildings to clear with other squads.
  • MAAW Mechanics a little 'Janky' Loaded/Unloaded.
  • Potentially a Blue on Blue situation.
  • March order crossing a lot of open terrain when more concealed crossing was possible.

Sustains:
  • Overall a fun op. Had a lot of CQB to get through
  • FTLs did a good job. Very responsive to commands
  • Took no black tags during combat
  • Worked well with 2, got SLs together to make plans on splitting portions of town
  • Smooth transition to have 2 pick up our position while we resupplied
  • Platoon held well at PLs
  • Able to get Helios support to get through multiple walls. Cool working with detached teams
  • Held down southern flank of assault
Improves:
  • Squad could've been better calling entering and exiting buildings
  • Initial movement to AP was clunky. Platoon got very clumped up. But we split well from this point
  • Called up one red tag who was able to get up before 7 arrive
  • Opord stated 1500 local time, mission start was middle of the night
  • Lots of DC and lag issues. Seemed to be made worse by use of off map bombs
  • During phase 5 initially had very little contact. It seems like this was noticed and enemies were hastily placed with troopers reporting seeing AI spawned in.
  • One member knocked out by Helios, they tried to help him, but was having connection issues.
  • Platoon was chatty at some points, had difficulty communicating over platoon with 2

Pros:
  • Great comms with Bandit- 1
  • Great job clearing TV Tower... minus the endless ladders
  • Helios was an amazing help with breaching, they worked well fitting in between both Fireteams.
Cons:
  • Boring, we felt like we were in shadows of bandit- 1. We had so little contact, we maybe spent 100 rounds.
  • Communication had a break down entering construction site. This left 2 multi-story construction buildings uncleared.
  • At one point another squad moved into our lane and cleared one of the construction buildings we were assigned to clear. This further reduced the contact we faced.
  • Due to Bandit- 4 not clearing the 2 southernmost, multi-story construction buildings; we were tasked to clear them at the time bandit- 1 was getting ready to advance to the next objective. This left us running behind time and stalled the assault with Bandit- 1.
  • Our squad had multiple disconnects.

Pros:
  • Great communication with Bandit-6 and Misfit-1
  • Made a great lead into the first contact during Phaseline-1, pushing the way where other units could get a foothold
  • CLS did amazing keeping our men up and aware.
  • Attacked the TV Tower with precision and quickness and overtook the tower quickly and efficiently
Cons:
  • Took 3 Black Tags, and has 2 mass casualties, once resulting in black tags other times resulting in just red tags
  • Could've been more of a leader than a shooter on my part
