Pros:
Once radio comms were established was able to get some resupplies and refuel done
Mission was pretty well done
HALO jumps are always awesome

Cons:
Odd radio issues where I couldn't hear aviation on 58 but could hear the command net. Not sure what that bug was but placement of tfar tower fixed it
Severe lack of personnel led to less than stellar response times

Pros:
  • Good inter-flight communications
  • Great comms with 5 and coordination
  • Good comms and coord with Atlas at the end for reposition to FARP
  • Fun picking up Eagle from water/SAR
  • Great use Grizzly at the end for RTB back to base in coord with Buff
  • Steady pace, good amount of being busy and having a bit of downtime
  • Great mission concept and execution, great jobs from the Zeus team!
Cons:
  • A little bit of down time, but nothing too bad at all, not really a true con...
  • Could use ship to ship short range comms to avoid saturation of 52, that's on me for not setting it up in advance

Pros:
  • Good coms from the ATLAS teams
  • I enjoyed myself and the mission (ty Zues')
  • My own coms felt ok today
  • ATLAS-2's surgeon attached to -7 for work at the SBF.
    • Special shoutout to Shepherd.S for his work at MISFIT-4's red cas on the SBF.
Cons
  • Missed Break contact order to Fallback positions leaving ATLAS exposed
  • Extraction LZ not in expected location.
  • Chaotic Platoon/.5 coms made it difficult to relay information
  • One ATLAS member failed jump due to para not opening until at 75m.
  • Friendlies in the CAS strike zone on Misfit-4's SBF resulting in 1 red and multiple yellows

Pros:
Lots of contact; well designed OP
HALO
ATLAS
React to contact/Dynamic/Rear Security
Good platoon comms
Great teamwork and utilization of all heavy weapons systems
Pretty good react to contact

Cons:
TFAR issues
Took a little bit to extract on the grizz
personal squad spacing/lack of fireteam leaders led to movement not being as tight as we would have liked
Some of us with potato computers had some frame issues
Bit of a danger close issue from RAIDER with red smoke being too close to friendlies - I take responsibility for this failure in communication

Edit: added jumps

  • ATLAS-2 Team did well tonight
Cons:
  • ATLAS-2 was not notified of troop fallback movement. Was nearly left behind enemy lines
  • Team was bored. Low amount of work until the end
  • Mistake during surgery caused cardiac arrest

Element Callsign: Chaos-1
Element Leader: Captain Thumper.N

Pros:

  • Raider crew was shot down over the water, survived, swam over to an enemy boat, and blew up the boat with C4!!! (Dread.M Davis.D )
  • Good amount of fires for the amount of aircraft we had.
  • Danger Close fire mission on enemy from Raider-1from.
  • Sutodoreh.W dropping CBUs in a ridge line full of enemy.
Cons
  • Lack of CAP/SEAD halfway through the mission.
  • Heavy AA in mission, where one Apache had to evade 20+ missiles.
  • Misfit-4 rushed enemy infantry where a danger close strike had been called with OIC approval.

Pros:
  • HALO jump went perfect for M1, no casualties and we hit the ground running.
  • Awesome work by everyone in the squad tonight. Individual soldier discipline was on point, we nailed the basics on every level.
  • Comms (inter-squad and PLT net) were excellent tonight.
  • Each FTL was on point, excellent work by Sparrow and Bonnet!
  • Rescue fraggos for each FT to rescue 6/5 and also to pickup Chaos at the end.
  • Fantastic job by M1 holding the exfil security and herding the PLT onto Grizzly and Buffalo, small hiccup communicating casualty location to Atlas but they figured it out.
  • 1 Red tag and maybe 5-6 yellow tags is an indicator of how well the Troopers did tonight, we were even engaged by 3x BTR/BMP at one point.
Cons:
  • None operation wise.
  • Jump Brief was a touch lengthy, need to investigate ways to make it more efficient.

Pros:
  • The overall consensus was that the mission was fun.
  • The pacing and feeling of pressure during the mission were good.
  • Teams did good work and worked well together.
  • The teams liked the premade zone markings.
  • Good cooperation from Misfit-1.
  • Platoon Coms were good (will improve my coms)
  • Atlas-2 was solid, close, and very helpful.
  • SPC.Rok.M was solid as 2IC when CPL.Zaren.T had a disconnect.
  • Alfa did well in getting the non-Cav players up to speed.
  • No black tags.
Cons:
  • The majority of our lane at the airport was low on contact.
  • I should have kept the emphasis on soft clearing.
  • My coms need to be more concise and clear.
  • Getting help from Misfit-1 in clearing part of our lane could have been organized better on my part.
  • I should have clarified to my teams that friendly have moved into our lane.
  • We should have gotten on the plane faster, but we did need to get a new player setup.
  • One trooper had a collision mid-air during HALO and had to switch to HAHO.
  • If we had lost our vic, we would have been in trouble.
  • The extraction went diagonally.

Pros:
  • The team dynamic was excellent when we received our significant red tag for the operation. Very efficient work had the casualty recovered in >3 minutes from handoff with Misfit--7.
  • HALO jumps are fantastic! We love seeing this insert method used; it is a nice change of pace.
  • Overall, the mission design was superb. It included different MOS, had a bit of work for everyone, and demonstrated some incredible skills for the infantry dudes.
  • We recovered -6 when he was snuck onto the chinook at the end of the OP, which is always a pro.
  • Infantry squads seemed turned on and locked in tonight; excellent work from the team we were following.
  • Our team pulled out our marking equipment during our setup of CCP Bravo, which is always fun. Operational pacing frequently prevents us from utilizing these SOPs in OPs, so getting some practice is always a massive plus.
  • The CSAR bird concept at the beginning was also really cool, although it was not needed.

Cons:
  • Communication broke down towards the end, which led to our team not tracking the break contact. Luckily, we noticed the infantry squads departing and decided to break down our CCP as the OPFOR came knocking.
  • We had one team member end up in the drink with some broken bones but could still swim ashore.
