7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Sutodoreh.W - Reaper-1
Specialist Mitchell.B - Titan-1
Warrant Officer 1 Hamm.C - Buffalo-1
Corporal Davis.D - Buffalo-1

Pros
  • Great flexibility among Alpha assets to meet varying needs of the operation
  • CPL Davis got nearly 5 hours of stick time making a score of challenging off-field reinsertion landings in poor weather and visibility
  • CW3 Sutodoreh stepped up and selflessly made sure assets were available and tasked
  • CW3 Sutodoreh was quick on the trigger and kept some of the pressure off the ground forces
  • SPC Mitchell guided Titan-1 to a successful HALO insertion of forces

Cons:
  • Visibility was a significant challenge from an ISR standpoint
  • CW3 Sutodoreh attempted to ram an enemy helicopter with his drone, only to get Stingered by friendly troops
  • Not a great showing among Alpha Company personnel for the first operation post-furlough

Pro:
Quiet moments which followed heavy amount of medical work.
Good amount of surgery.
Was very enjoyed
New medics to KAT learnt alot
MI-24 shot a rocket at a trooper. We spent 10-15 trying to save him. He kept switching from Ventricular Tachycardia / Ventricular Fibrillation . We manged to save him with alot of medication.
Medical was done very well throughout the Operation. Very proud of everyone who attended.
CLS stand up has been very very good. Since KAT has been stood up.

Con:
Driving into a ambush point and dismounting and being wiped
Friendly air units flying over a AA point.
Platoon felt out of order at times.
Making sure medics are over stepping on active treatment.
Halo drop put me in a ragdoll which made getting correct direction hard.

Pro:
  • A lot of tasking between Re-Inserts and Resupplies
  • Bounced between buffalo and Bison and got familiarization with Bison's weapon system
  • Weather made it challenging and low visibility made it very immersive
  • loved the flight time between Base and AO
  • took a rocket hit and made it back to base
  • LZ points were clear to see and great radio work by Westcott.R

Con:

  • Latency issues causing an issue on take off from a re-insert
  • Crashed landing 3 times tonight
  • on reinsert took contact while in the air and had 2 black tags when I landed for reinsert
  • Key-binds weren't set for the weapon system when given a task on bison
  • resupply took too long to load into Buffalo

Pro:
  • Halo Jump! Excellent brief by Tallamy.D , actual drop had minimal casualties and I would say was 95% successful, about the same as a static line! Well done everyone!
  • Buffalo/Bison: Davis.D was the hardest working man in the A.O., thanks for dealing with my tight LZ's! Excellent comms throughout entire OP.
  • Individual soldiering was excellent. Every time I approached a squad from the rear they had excellent 360 security and a good defensive posture.
  • Both Atlas teams were johnny-on-the-spot responding to casualty calls.
  • Fun operation with good pacing...especially for a long OP. Well done MMs!
  • Had a couple "hero" moments, myself and Lucander.P were the only survivors of a rogue AI helicopter rocket run...both of us injured and managed to fight off an enemy Ural and squad before breaking contact to regroup with the remnants of the platoon.
  • I survived the entire OP, despite my best efforts by making bad decisions.

Con:

  • Had a weird stamina bug. My weight was 34.2kg and I could not sprint more than 10m without slowing to a walk. Weapon sway with low stamina and/or with an level of pain is BROKEN in my opinion and should be looked into.
  • Was administered Ketamine for pain despite me making it known that I do not want Ketamine, the chromatic aberration is physically painful to look at on screen.
  • It took 45 mins to get wheels up after load in. We can do better.
  • I got a POW killed by standing by an uncleared building on the last OBJ.

Pros:
  • Good mission; multiple interesting locations for AOs
  • Good jump; no out of order calls
  • Fun jumpmaster with thorough jump brief
  • Good amount of contact, especially for a blocking element
  • KAT seems to work well

Cons:
  • Ragdolling on jump
  • Poor platoon spacing
  • Platoon and squad needed more formations
  • Enemy humvee made it through our lines during first danger crossing
  • Inefficient use of weapons squad
  • Some odd placeables: bunkers/towers facing wrong ways
  • Funky helicopter strike on platoon Ural; QRF coming wrong way on the LZ for the Ural black-tags was unfortunate.

Pros:

  • HALO Drop was awesome with minimal issues
  • Extremely fun and exciting OP
  • Well paced
  • MikeM86 got 2 air kills with his incredible stinger work

Cons:
  • 6hrs was perhaps too long for an OP. Myself and most of the squad dropped off at about the 4hr mark
  • No reaper made it a little brutal for the first objective. I feel like someone in the platoon could have directed it to the area and used the weapons on it, just have no ability to rearm it.
  • ISR usage (HUNTIR,Reaper,Buffalo) could have been better.

Pros
  • Great HALO drop, given that we haven't done many in recent memory, and that about half or more folks aren't qualified to actually jump.
  • Overall the mission went well with a few minor issues.
Cons:
  • Some things got borked with AI not doing what was ordered by Zeus; this resulted in a mass casualty incident with multiple black tags.
