Element Callsign: Atlas 2
Element Leader: Corporal Maco.D

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Corporal Albright.J
Private First Class Stanley.K

Pros:
Effective Team members
Was involved in firefights
Enjoyed nightime
Enjoyed overall Operation
Stealth Element was a nice touch avoid some partols

Cons:
Noise discipline was poor at some periods
Atlas 2 took 2 fire missions on our position one 30m away followed by a 2nd 3-4 mins later that landed 5m away luckly outside of our entrenched position.
Bunched Platoon movements at times which is sometimes a given due to the nighttime Operaiton
Was a very shame at the amount of medical. i believe we did more time walking, driving and shooting as a whole than doing medical even the routine treatment.

COMBAT AFTER ACTION REPORT

Element Callsign: Misfit-5
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Narramoor.A

Pros:
  • Excellent stealthy movement to the objective, dodging patrols.
  • Excellent breach / raid
  • Good to employ the mortars deliberately and include them into planning
  • Really great infantry leadership orienting themselves properly for various actions.
  • Great work from the mission maker Fox and planning from 6 to execute on the unique intent.
Cons:
  • Raven were generally underutilised by myself due to the terrain features and mission parameters. What they did do was excellent, with the HVI pickup and resupply drop-off
  • I accidentally pinged Zeus a few times due to keybinding issues. Sorry Fox!
  • I negligently discharged at the DMP due to the 'deploy uav' menu bug (should've remembered to keep it safe)
Points to develop
  • Mortars could have further training to reduce the following errors
    • Objective type (Raid) being rapid compounded
    • Recurring issue when mixing scroll-wheel (vanilla) and ACE interactions causes the mortar tubes to disappear.
    • Utilise the CFF net 57 to separate out comms from the platoon net
    • Utilise the CFF process (Fire Mission -> FDC -> 'Shot Out') so that things can be better coordinated.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Captain Mackey.A

Second Lieutenant Tucker.C
Corporal Turner.L
Corporal Kastor.K
Specialist Casey.W
Specialist Woods.K
Specialist Franklin.J

Pros:
  • Excellent mission design and contact level was perfect!
  • Exceptional teamwork and communications within squad
  • Both fireteams absolutely crushed it on objective, during movements, and during break contact.
  • Excellent react to contact by FTL's...an absolute clinic of Battle Drills execution.
Cons:
  • Break contact on OBJ took to long, it evolved to not being a raid at one point.
  • Atlas response seemed a bit slow compared to usual, likely due to communication issues.
  • Noise discipline seemed to be lacking from certain members during stealthy phase of the operation

COMBAT AFTER ACTION REPORT

Element Callsign: RAVEN-1
Element Leader: Lieutenant Colonel Dread.M

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Lieutenant Colonel Dread.M
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Grizzle.M

Pros:
  • A lot of potential in the Operation.
  • Challenging flight with night and fog.
  • Use of RAVEN that doesn't happen often, couple of inserts and a resupply.

Cons:
  • Didn't make a lot of sense to use RAVEN for ISR with long range surface to air threats up. Couldn't use altitude to look into the vegetation even at 8k from AA threats. Raven only has AN/ALQ-144 which buy's the bird a window, but if a lock is already acquired and launched more than likely it will end with a strike in proximity of the craft or a direct hit.
  • Weird lag issues about halfway through the op.

(Sorry for a late AAR post, been a busy couple of days for me)

Element Callsign: Atlas 1
Element Leader:
Corporal Dixon.E

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Private McAllen.J
Specialist Winters.R

Pros:
Stealth was alot of fun
Fun firefights with cqb in the dark
Good teamwork in the squad
Saved critical patient with no blacktags during the entire evening

Cons:
People barely using noise discipline even though we were being sneaky.
Sloppy platoon movement but also understanding how we needed to be a bit more bunched up due to stealth element to avoid enemies
Lack of casualties in general.
