Pros:
  1. The chaos was entertaining.
  2. Atlas was on point all night and is about 80% of the reason Viking-2 was able to even fight.
  3. A lot of assets.

Cons:
  • Mission was chaotic.
  • IDF was a bit much and took out leadership on several occasions despite what seemed like a relatively quick react to contact.
  • Positioning for limited squad might have been better at an SBF. Can't really do much when the squad is only 4 people.
  • Zeus cleanup was a little slow at times. Much contact so it's understandable but all the more critical.
  • Chaos attachment to under strength unit was a little strange.
  • Not a fan of TPing to Objective.

Pros:
  • Lots of work to do! Really fun mission.
  • Excellent execution by Lighting-1. Great communication. Destroyed a hell of a lot of targets and got to deploy a lot of ordinance!
  • Good communication with Raider.

Cons:
  • Frame drops
  • Lighting 2 could not reach Chaos on 59 due to an issue on their end.
  • Minor issues with either Chaos miscommunication of the FAH or execution from lighting but it did not affect the operation.
  • Raider seemed to be relentlessly engaged by mobile AA threats and was taken down several times.

Pros
  • A defence that strained and challenged and all elements. Everyone did very well to adapt and overcome. I'm sure there will be a lot of Heroic or Skillful individual actions.
  • Great work from the Zeus' troubleshooting issues at the start and providing a contact rich environment.
  • Good conclusion to the Bravo themed month!
  • The first operation where the Radios have been used perfectly since the adoption of TFAR.
  • The emphasis on independent squad action by 6 worked very well, with the phase lines to break down fall-backs.
  • Good time with Kiser acting as my Gunner, we have a few war stories. Had a fun time rolling with Davis as well in the first 3/4s of the OP.
  • Excellent to see the new Dragoons in use with the dedicated resupply Dragoon. This change really meshes well with Viking Platoon.
Cons
  • Quite a lot of black tags due to being spread out and some liberal use of OPFOR Hind-mounted cannons.
  • Apologies to Buffalo flight as the AO and mission parameters made the organisation of LZs challenging.
  • Some framerate issues in the first 1/3 of the operation.
  • Would be nice to have Viking vehicles in the staging zone to allow for loadouts and cargo/inventory management.

Pros:
  • A well designed and placed operation. Fantastic work from all ZUES's
  • Suitable mission scenario led to a immersive environment.
  • All enjoyed themselves from beginning to end.
  • Target rich environment.
  • Good resource sharing and resupply within squad and SIERRA.
  • Remained "Effectiveness throughout the hecticness".
  • A large amount of Opfor destroyed. Repelled a brigade sized enemy.
  • Brilliant performance from platoon leadership to deal with comms and management.
  • ATLAS on point with CCPs and responsiveness.
  • No let up, engaged at all times.
  • Successfully achieved mission objectives.
Cons:
  • Casualty care from within the squad could of been better performed.
  • Slightly more setup time and familiarisation with the initial positions before enemy contact taken.
  • TP in meant we had to load sierras with required ammo after set off.
  • Slight frame rate drop off but recovered well.

Pros
  • TFAR adjustments seem to be getting better as players get used to it or reacquainted.
  • Lots of engagements
  • Use of Raider in an Op is a lovely sight
  • Chaos elements did well adjusting on the fly. Good calls, coordination seems to be improving (still some growth on the air side to be had)
Cons
  • Use of BMPs with mounted ATGM. These engage air threats from over 6K out with laser homing accuracy.
    • Standard is to avoid placing these. They are relentless, give no warning if you don't physically see launch, and dragging them into the deck is the only countermeasure.
  • Not really a con. Godfather should be aware that if they spawn multiple jets within engagement area, it is nearly impossible for rotary to break contact with 6 missile launches with 30 flairs that launch 10 at a time. I've not mastered the art of dodging laser beam ATGMs and that many enemy jets. I will work harder, all good stuff though.

Pros
  • Fireteams worked well together
  • Good echoing of orders
  • Sierra did extremley good as a force multiplier taking 3 MI 8s and 5+tanks/IFVs
  • Near constant contact second half of the OP
Cons
  • Lack of air supiriority causing lots of air persistently attacking viking
  • Too many blufor AI getting in the way and causing frame issues
  • No access to Vehicle staging zone

Pros
  • TFAR adjustments seem to be getting better as players get used to it or reacquainted.
  • a lot of engagements from multiple sides of the city
  • Communication from Atlas and Plt coms was outstanding
  • Utilizing CCP's was great and fallback CCP's
  • immersion was great, it was non-stop contact and thinking and creating FRAGOs
  • EVERY Section was on point tonight
Cons
  • Tank rolled right into the "Alamo" and had no clue until it was right in the middle of CCP
  • Panders parked in the middle of the road and multiple in one location, sub-optimal if an artillery round hit them
  • A lot of side talk is unnecessary and yelling at one another isn't great for morale
  • multiple black tags due to spread out.
  • Too long waiting to tp in, wish we could've convoyed in

Pros:
  • Lot of work to do we had tons of surgery and casualties.
  • Side tasking with civilians was awesome and welcomed. (Perhaps adding injuries & making it easier to transport them next time)
  • Comms were great with Viking-7, 6 lines were nice & ambulance dispatching was nice.
  • CCP's were utilized well by infantry when Atlas-1 were full on tasking.
  • Were able to save all of Viking-2 after they took massive casualties in the beginning.
Cons:
  • Frames were a little choppy through the operation.
  • Enemy artillery not being prosecuted by Air after they were marked. (Enemy had free will to continue shelling us)
  • New Medical Strykers look AMAZING however didn't have proper inventory inside.
  • Overall campaign theme and lore felt disconnected/non-congruent with likely irl course of action ex. CavBatt operating in a vacuum with no support from NATO/CavDiv, lack of reinforcements, resupply or force escalation from BLUFOR.
  • We couldn't move the civilians during the side task due to animations. (Had to zip tie them)

Pros:
  • Had our share of surgeries and casualties.
  • Side tasking with civilians was nice.
  • Comms were great with Viking-7, 6 lines were nice & ambulance dispatching was nice.
Cons:
  • Enemy artillery not being prosecuted by Air after they were marked. (Enemy had free will to continue shelling us).
  • New Medical Strykers look AMAZING however didn't have proper inventory inside. Also driver has a limited line of sight which makes driving difficult especially in urban areas. Strykers with CROWWS are better modeled in the game and as a result easier to use.
Trucks also left with 2 civilians remaining at stagging area.

Specialist Alexander.P (Buffalo-1 pilot)
Private Sawyer.H (Buffalo-1 co-pilot)
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Sparrow.P (Buffalo-2 pilot)
Private Slaughter.J (Buffalo-2 co-pilot)

Pros:
  • Very active airspace and near constant tasking.
  • Good inter-aircraft airspace control and deconfliction.
  • My hypothesis that the BMPs with ATGM would not engage the Hatchet helicopters was incorrect. A BMP will fire ATGMs at a Hatchet MH-60. However, it remains true that RHS manpads will not attack the Hatchet helicopters. This is a bug known to the Hatchet developers and is in their backlog.
  • Buffalo-2 lost an engine, but was able to safely make an emergency landing at MOB Krazee and stay in the fight.
  • Buffalo flight made good use of NOE flying so neither helicopter was shot down during the op (Buffalo-2 never lost control of their aircraft so I'm not counting it as getting shot down)
Cons:
  • We did not have resupply crates on hand when Viking-5 called for them. It may be best to have those crates ready at the beginning of the op so we don't have to interrupt Zues and so ground forces can get resupplied quicker.
  • Lost communication with ground forces when Viking-5 went uncon. At the time we were not aware of who was next in charge of ground to air comms.
  • Did not hear red air callouts on air to air frequency. Buffalo flight was only made aware of red air on the ground to air channel.
  • Low frame rate made landings difficult.
