Pros:

  • Well thought out and engaging OP
  • Good 'Restricted Comms' mechanic.
  • Solid Teamwork from all involved
Cons:

  • Axis Strongpoint is an exceptionally hard point to take, maybe less defenders in the next iteration.

Pros:
  • Beautiful Tank on Tank and Infantry Combat!
  • Communications were on point and accurate 98% of time!
  • Defensive was executed brilliantly! Flexible defense for the win!
  • Immersion was excellent!
  • American pushes were close several times to total disaster for Axis!
  • Close to 70 people for Summer months pretty neat.
Cons:
  • Americans I would imagine have frustration with St Marie assault understanding their position and armoured attack power
Notes: Solelo joined crew in place of Henderson half way through match, just before St Marie Defense phase.

Pros:

Great Operation. Really enjoyed the beginning with a comms limitation. Added a fun element not seen before in operations.

Cons:

Some tank balancing issues. Another map where a team is allowed to dig in.

Pros:
  • No communications was fun, challenging, and immersive
  • Squad had a good time
  • The initial phases were highly efficient
Cons:
  • The initial assault on St. Marie was good, but because defenders were allowed heavies when we were not was a problem.
  • Defender advantage with buildable allowed is super tough. Let's give offense a chance by limiting defender spawns to a half track, forcing them to play in defense waves and value their lives a bit better. Either that or give us HE arty. The last few ops and FTX's have been very defense favored.
  • They should have been forced to defend St. Marie and not be out in the flanks, which is what our limitation would have been had we capped and had to defend the counter attack.

Pros:
  • Amazing Op
  • Great inner squad communication
  • Squads ability to follow orders with speed and efficiency was amazing
Cons:
  • Felt a little too spread out on the last point trying to find holes in the defense. West side was just getting flanked over and over.
  • Was told to move to the east side to support a squad just for them to leave the second we got there. Had to fight those two allies with just 4 people and a tank.

Pros:
  • 23 Barbed Wires deployed under fire during the St Marie portion! Excellent squad tactics of suppression while Engineer rebuilt when holes were punched.
  • Whole Squad was glad to participate in a defensive Op
  • Very close game at all points
Cons:
  • Allies may have needed another resource to help take St Marie since we could have all hands defending

Pros:
  • Infantry did a great job supporting tanks.
  • Communications were spot on.
  • Double Belgian gates FTW!!
  • Americans were close with pushes to the East. At times we only had 1 or 2 guys defending. More concentrated effort could result in win.
  • Good south flank by the Americans caught us off guard but command did a great job pivoting our forces.
Cons:
  • Would not want to be the Americans attacking that point.
  • Computer crashed with 6 mins left :(
  • Command comms did get a bit cluttered at times.

  • Notes: CPL.Solelo left unit to join SGT.Thrawn’s tank crew in place of Henderson half way through match, just before St Marie Defense phase.

Pros:
  • Fun was had
  • Unique mission elements ie comms being established, phases requiring specific tactics
  • Amazing attacking and defensive battles took place
  • Defense was relentless, great placement of buildables, if destroyed were built back fast
  • Great tank and infantry teamwork
Cons:
  • Defending tanks could be limited to a pool and not phases
  • 2 halftracks in church was a bit much, limit to one in circle and 2/3 active total
  • Callouts were good, however defense was occasionally overeactive and overloading 1 side
  • Tweaks to numbers, mission parameters could be done but will of course have to be tried and tested

Pros:
  • Fantastically fun operation!
  • Tank-to-tank coordination was great.
  • Tank/Infantry coordination was the best it has ever been. (Shoutout to CPL Warren!)
  • Comms Blackout was innovative and fun.
Cons:
  • Heavy vs medium tanks is very challenging to balance.
  • Sainte Marie Du Mont hard point was particularly challenging to capture.

Pros:

  • Extremely close fight - started the cap with 15 seconds left.
  • Comms blackout is a very fun mutator.
  • Tanks were very responsive to infantry spotting/tasking, really sharp coordination.
Cons:
  • Western flank was under-manned once we hit SMD, seemed like most of the team was just banging their heads against the wall on the Northern entrance.
  • Fight for SMD felt one-sided - without HE artillery preventing them from just re-building every barbed wire immediately after it was destroyed, it devolved into a corner peek contest with tanks.

Pros:
  • Operation was generally well balanced and remained fun throughout
  • Requirement of building the comms hubs prior to being able to use squad or command comms was a fun twist which heightened immersion and added a fun dimension to gameplay
  • Good turnout as amount of personnel in the operation seemed right-sized for the activity
  • Crew worked well together and followed TC commands with skill and efficiency
Cons:
  • Going up against a defending enemy heavy tank holding an easily defensible objective with only medium tanks limited our ability to be effective on the final objective
