Pros
  1. Squads actual movement wasn't bad

Cons
  1. the RP fallback was a failed communications
  2. general cmd of clear west across the bridge was a poor command on SL lvl to PLT lvl. lead to my battle buddy team alpha dying in alone
  3. squad failed to hear commands at tactical level at phase 4 leading to men critically injured
  4. always clear out the area you bomb or arty out, never trust a enemy pos without being cleared by inf, it lead to the taking out of multiple platoon vehicles
  5. Acre, we should switch to TFAR, i lost everyone at one point and it really killed everyone's boner we should redux this op with tfar

Pros:
  • Good OP, with enough to keep us busy for the most part.
  • Hot LZ insert was very POG
Cons:
  • Glitches with Hatchet a couple times, with sticking throttles.
  • Infantry called out incorrect LZ and called smoke color, rather than waiting for us to call it, but 5 was new, so no issue.
  • Chaos got on 09 to try to direct Buffalo; we need to stay within SOP on who directs what, to avoid confusion and miscommunication.

Pros:
  • Lots of fun
  • Good use of Succession of command
  • Great inserts
  • Good songs sung by both fireteams need to start a band
  • Good Fragos
Cons:
  • Long waiting times due to Disconecting SLs and Platoon
  • Window glare in humvees is almost debilitating while driving
  • Hard stopping mission when we set up good defensive position it wont hurt to throw a quick 5 min QRF together
  • Not enough enemies
  • More enimies are expected to man a HQ position
  • Make TFAR in the private modpack Mod not one foot in the water

Pros
  1. Team treated the casualties well and reasonably quickly.
  2. Good 6 lines from Atlas-7
  3. KIA and POWs were handled well.
  4. Communications between atlas teams and with atlas-7 were solid and helped to keep the platoon's chaos from impacting medical treatment.
Cons
  1. One of the CCPs was very crowded.
  2. Movement might have been agressive considering we got shot inside the vehicle following infantry into the first objective.
  3. Near the end, neither atlas team had a surgeon anymore and it caused some confusion.

Pros:
  • Good turnout!
  • Communication with Buffalo was well done.
  • Atlas responds quickly to any call that came in.
  • Will definitely 5 again, it was a lot fun!

Cons:
  • Lack of command & control from myself when 6 disconnected.
  • Miscommunication on where to move after the first objective was taken.
  • Establish LZs ahead of time for a lack of confusion and creates less work while on the fly! Also, to give specific names so as to not confuse them with ORP/RPs.

Pros:
  • Lots of fun & lots of medical.
  • Good comms & good coordination between 7 and Atlas
  • Loved the immersion where we took KIA soldiers in body bags to Buffalo for exfil to base. (Should be done more)
  • Good operation overall loved the environment
  • Atlas 2 was able to rescue one of Bandit-2's Fire teams after their vehicle was disabled in an open field was very awesome.
Cons:
  • Disconnects again being a huge problem.
  • Security felt off today, we had a medic go down in our CCP while treating, when there were 10 people standing around doing nothing happened twice at another location.

Pros:
  • The tasking pace was nice and consistent, less down time than normal.
  • Quick CSAR by Buffalo-1 after Buffalo-2 was shot down by red-air
Cons:
  • Buffalo-2 was shot down by red-air.
  • After the missle hit the aircraft, I failed to follow ANC (aviate, navigate, communicate); I was to focused on performing the mayday call instead of performing the auto-rotation and the crash was signifcantly worse than it should have been.
  • Hatchet glitch where the collective was stuck at full which lead to over torquing and an eventual second emergency landing.

Pros:
  • The step of time and platoon initiative was excellent!
  • The first raid was conducted quickly and with apparent precision despite the sudden loss of the OIC.
  • Staging Buffalo for the CIVPOP exfil went well! Plus, we exfilled 4 civilians, an improvement from some previous OPs!
  • Really good work from aviation providing precision CAS without apparent overt infrastructure damage.
  • Despite the rough and hasty assault, we did manage to push across the bridge into the enemy HQ leading to a route of enemy forces.
Cons:
  • ACRE was (and has been for several OPs) suboptimal. Some solutions are floating around (downgrading TS/ACRE to previous versions or switching to TFAR). Either way, one of these must be enacted before our next operation. Loosing >50% of the platoon (including C3 elements) isn't tenable.
  • Commanders' intent wasn't realized during a few of these phases. The reasoning for this is multifaceted. The rough C3 throughout the operation and incredibly variable numbers combined with attempts to maintain initiative led me to push the pace too hard and ask for too much from a platoon that didn't have the capacity to execute. The decision to hastily push through the roadblock during phases 2-3 without a hard clearance was a suboptimal decision on my end, and phases 3-4 were rough as well.
