Pros
Stacked squad
Numbers allowed for multiple weapon systems at play
Key vacancies were filled quickly

Cons
Overpacked squad led to issues with loading on birds, already tight on space, it doesn't help the cause
Odd frame stutters
Hot Extract felt out of place - especially with birds that didn't have crews.

Pros
Great mission, good amount of contact. Destroyed 12+ SAM sites, 6+ red air, and completed upwards of 20 bomb strikes with no friendly casualties and very solid effects on targets

Cons
LIGHTNING-1 ACRE issues forcing to abort

Element Callsign: Atlas 2
Element Leader: Master Sergeant Maco.D

Pros:
Chalk used for extract is a nice thing to see hope to see it done more
Some light treatment here and there.

Cons:
Came in 40 mins late
ACRE was not working thought my time in the Operation even tho I reset my radios twice.
Platoon seemed quite spread out near the end.
Some overfilling in the extract birds.

Element Callsign: Atlas-1
Element Leader: Specialist Davis.D
Personnel within Element

Specialist Turn. J
Corporal Armitage.T
Staff Sergeant Stewart.AJ

Pros:
Opord was greatly put together allowing each section to plan accordingly.
CPL. Armitage was a first-time surgeon and did an AMAZING job
Atlas had plenty of work to do and communicated effectively
Using the battle buddy worked effectively due to limited numbers and having to split Atlas 1 into 2 Fire teams
Bandit 5 adjusted to new insertions for extract on OBJ 2
extract was quick; under 15 seconds
Very fun operation

Cons
Slight acre issues where radios stopped working, TS kept muting members
The insertion of 2 new troopers resulted in 2 members of atlas being left behind due to a lack of space
New Chalk extracts weren't relayed plt wide resulting in confusion on what bird atlas was getting on at the end
not too many 6 lines given
a lot of Disconnecting issues

Element Callsign: BUFFALO-1
Element Leader: Warrant Officer 1 Hamm.C "Hooker"

Pros:

  • Extremely fun and well designed mission. Well done mission maker and OIC.
  • Extremely nice and detailed OPORD, which is always nice, despite some necessary changes that were made. Sometimes, it happens. FLEX!
  • Flawless teamwork from BUFFALO Flight- All around. Ship-to-ship comms were really fantastic and took place on a separate LR channel, which allowed for ease of comms and deconfliction of Aviation LR02.
  • BUFFALO Flight- Flight coordination, flight formation, flight spacing, and most importantly VFR flight capability and SA proved to be superlative. The proof is in the performance which was on full display.
  • Outstanding job from 5, excellent availability and comms effectiveness.
  • Villmarsson.L did really well with his "instractions" today, despite being a FW pilot. Well done sir.
Cons:
  • We did have a couple of damaged/downed aircraft, but as Alpha Co. aviators always strive to do, we managed/negotiated the situation quickly and appropriately and SAFELY.
  • ACRE issues did suck for our friends that had to endure and try to overcome that setback at the last minute.
  • Lack of Alpha Company turnout, specifically Rotary. Would have been super nice to see more show up.
