Pro:
  1. Fun op in general
  2. Good server performance
  3. Decent turnout

Con:
  1. Coms were sometimes a bit messy
  2. 2nd half of the operation 2nd platoon was IMO out of the action it seemed sitting in the western side of the bridge and just waiting for something to happen.

Pros:
  • GREAT OP! Very fun, engaging, plenty of contact, and the brief was excellent.
  • Baker 2-2 was very involved throughout the op which is a big win.
  • Contact with the tanks was a lot of fun to deal with.
  • WW2 setting is awesome. More please.
Cons:
  • Some jank with the static mounts murdering a member of 2-2.
  • Bad frag thrown by a member of 2-2 caused a mas cas situation.
  • AI shooting through walls.
  • Conflicting orders with platoon elements running up on fireteam members and giving orders.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Non-7th Cavalry Within Element:
  • CCWO J. Swan

Pros:
  • Time Period
    • Give me MORE
    • Every single person enjoyed their experience
  • Contact
    • Good contact in first half
    • Decent throughout
  • Company Movement
    • Leaps and bounds better deconfliction from last year's iteration
  • PID
    • No (Little?) external fratricide in a WWII op is huge
  • Mission Accomplished

Cons:
  • Bridge Objective
    • Initial assault over bridge did not go to plan
    • Left 2-1 to go straight up the middle with no room to maneuver
  • QRF
    • Briefing emphasized western QRF when there was very little
    • 1st PLT break contact soaked up most/all attack power of western QRF
    • 2nd PLT left staring west when main QRF hit east
  • Communication
    • Clarity of intent
    • Position/Enemy/Goal updates lacking
    • Intention of platoon leaders not synced up
  • Server Stability
    • Latter half saw many have connection issues with varied messages
    • Unsure if there is a fix but glad the op ended before it became untenable

Pro:
  1. Op was fun
  2. Guys loved the assault on the 88 Batteries
  3. Lots of action towards the end
  4. great communication between the fireteams

Con:
  1. We were the first complete squad to arrive on the DZRP, and per the briefing we were told, the first complete squad on the DZRP would go and clear town A. What instead happened was we arrived on the RP, told both BAKER-6 and 6 "hey were all here and ready to move" and were promptly left on a corner doing nothing when Baker 1-6 arrived and instead grabbed people from the various half marshalled squads to go to clear the town.
  2. When moving out from the DZRP, we were told the order of movement would be 2nd Platoon, then 1-1 followed by 1-3 and 1-2 brining up the rear. Either due to a miscommunication to the other elements or just brazen disregard, the rest of 1st platoon ran forward ahead of 1-1 (which we didnt know about) which created a lot of confusion on what my guys were supposed to be doing and left them agitated, feeling that they were getting left behind and sidelined from the objectives.
    1. This persisted throughout the operation all the way up to the 88 batteries, where on the push from the town 1-1 was told to strong point a T-intersection and 1-2 was told to hold pause. 1-2 continued to move forward and past 1-1, which caused us to PID 1-2 as German troops down the road when they broke from the tree-line because we expected to be the forward most element.
  3. Formations as a whole, both squad and platoon level felt sloppy
  4. Comms with platoon felt messy. Directions changed frequently, would get told to go somewhere but not what action to take. 0 comms with other squads, only ever had comms direct to 1-6.
