Hell Let Loose: Vietnam & HLL Console Status Announcement
Posted by GOA.Kleinman.H as a Regimental Announcement to the 7th Cavalry Discord Server on 05AUG26:
"Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launches August 13th.
We will have three HLL:V servers going live with Launch. The actual go-live on servers is dependent on provider readiness and staff availability, but folks will be working to get them up and configured as quickly as we can.
We will be resizing our HLL ( Original ) footprint on account of anticipated player shifts.
We'll get into it more during the upcoming Command Staff Call, as while we have the conceptual map, the first few weeks coming off launch are going to inform and change member sentiment, and we intend to hold off on a wider reorg until after the dust settles a few weeks post launch.
Your unit leaders are continuing to work through the fine details, and we're kicking off department tie-ins over the next week to prepare for launch day.
We look forward to seeing you in the rice fields on August 13th.
the GOA"
ALCON,
With the above intent in mind, the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment is implementing several initial changes in preparation for the launch and 7CAV's official support of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam (HLLV).
First, as announced by the Regimental Commanding Officer at yesterday's Command Staff Call, Hell Let Loose Console (HLLC) is no longer a supported game within the Regiment. Effective immediately, we will cease recruiting for HLLC, onboarding new members, or supporting the title in any official capacity.
The main reason for this is that the members of Bravo Company of the Auxiliary Combat Detachment (B/ACD), which has been our home for HLLC for many years, have collectively elected to transition to HLLV. Since HLLV is fully crossplay across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, B/ACD will transfer to 2nd Battalion as Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion (C/2‑7). This will be a like‑for‑like transfer with minimal disruption beyond updated company designation, Discord and forum areas, and Battalion Staff...
