Colonel Derek Budd

For exceptionally meritorious leadership of a primary billet while serving as Battalion Executive Officer of the Axillary Combat Detachment during 2023. Colonel Derek Budd distinguished themselves by helping to lead and shape the Axillary Combat Detachment with professionalism, dedication, and exceptional service throughout the entire year. He consistently works towards the betterment of ACD, is accessible to all troopers, and goes above and beyond to handle all administrative tasks. He's helped train and guide countless new staff, emphasized leadership development, and held his subordinates accountable all while helping to grow multiple games AO's within the Regiment. He helps set the standard of leadership in ACD, and is an example for all others to follow. Colonel Derek Budd's exemplary leadership demonstrates their commitment to their troopers and reflects great credit upon himself, the Axillary Combat Detachment, and the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment.

Sergeant Major Anthony Preacher

For exceptionally meritorious leadership of a primary billet while serving as the Battalion Sergeant Major of the Axillary Combat Detachment during January 2023 through December 2023. Sergeant Major Anthony Preacher distinguished themselves by being a go-to Non-commissioned Officer at many levels. SGM Preacher has been a solid rock of knowledge for his unit's Non-commissioned Officers as well as for the Non-commissioned Officers across the entire Regiment. Lieutenant Colonel Burton.P

For a single, significant, and distinguished contribution to the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment. Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Burton distinguished themselves by helping to create, organize, and run the Cav Cast podcast project in 2023. This accomplishment went above and beyond his duties and responsibilities, and helped create content on behalf of the Regiment that successfully publicized the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment, and was enjoyed by both members and non-members alike. His accomplishment helped raise the morale of members by giving them insight into other members and areas of the Regiment, gave higher leadership another way to indirectly communicate with our membership, and helped enhance our public reputation, which all positively impacted our retention and growth as a unit. Lieutenant Colonel Burton's distinguished contribution is in great credit to themselves and the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment.
