Whether it's helping to oversee the Battalions, the NCO Academy, multiple departments, overseeing our Discord Server, or helping to set policy for the entire Regiment, CSM Nexhex has showed great leadership and skill by developing others, sending countless communications to provide transparency to all members, consistently held others to a high standard, has consistently been an advocate for all members, has conducted countless meetings to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Regiment, and accomplished countless other daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to help further the Regiment at a high level for many years. His technical expertise has also enhanced the unit's entire Discord experience and his Discord Server work has directly strengthened the Regiment as one community. His actions, values, and mentorship are an example for all leaders and NCO's to follow. Major Ben Francis Ryan
For being awarded Regimental Officer Of The Year in 2025. Major Ben Francis Ryan distinguished themselves by providing consistent exceptional hands on leadership throughout the entire year. Major Ryan has served with distinction as the Squad AO Executive Officer through both Charlie Company, ACD and then as 3-7 Battalion. Major Ryan distinguished himself by consistently leading by example, working tirelessly on countless Squad AO related projects to better the unit, and by consistently demonstrating his absolute commitment to high standards, including his exceptional punctuality that has ensured that the Squad AO has always had a positive driving force pushing the entire AO forward. He leads by example by being extremely active attending many classes and operations throughout the year and always takes the time to communicate and share his vision through countless meetings, communications, and announcement posts. He also has gone above and beyond by personally stepping up to take temporary charge and fill in major gaps in leadership in Alpha Company, 3-7 during a prolonged time of need, working to ensure that all lower levels of leadership are trained to his high standard. He has also taken on numerous secondary and support billets including S7, ODS, S3, and RTC and manages all of these volunteer duties with great dedication and skill. He also went above and beyond by volunteering to step up to run the November ODS cycle in a time of need despite it not being his responsibility and being new to the department, but still did an excellent job.
