Pros:
  • Strong MOUT performance overall. several casutlies was sustained but kept relatively low despite the dense urban terrain and complex environment, especially during the clearing of the final three apartment buildings.
  • Amazing support from Helios mine clearing/breaching and from the Medics dragging us out of buildings and managing multiple mass casualties at the same time during the entire operation.
  • Communications felt good despite the chaos.
  • Good Teamwork with the other squads. Especially when doing the maneuvers into the complex itself and the apartment buildings.
  • The operation presented several challenging tactical situations that required problem-solving and adaptability, which made it engaging and enjoyable.
  • Good succession of leadership within the squad. Multiple troopers stepped up and assumed leadership responsibilities throughout the operation when needed.
  • The nighttime airborne insertion was a fun and unique experience for several troopers regarding the solutions for the buggy parachute mod.
  • Troopers had a great time.
  • Good despite technical issues affecting the operation.
  • Turnout was amazing.

Cons:
  • More direct coordination and communication between fireteams could improve efficiency and situational awareness.
  • Frequent FPS drops and disconnects negatively impacted momentum and complicated execution at several points during the operation.
  • We lost tempo during the final phase of the objective, which slowed the overall push and reduced pressure on the enemy. Which in the end, resulted in 2 casualties.

Pros:
  • Excellent operation
  • Comms between flight elements and Misfit-5/6 were on point
  • Lots of action for the Doorgunners
  • First Airbourne operation out of UH-60's was really fun to be a part of.

Cons:
  • Fuel consumption was to fast (forwarded to proper channel)

Sustains:
  • Troopers like the op. Good concept, tough enemy to dig out
  • Squad had to hold down true 360 security held up between buildings.
  • Good movement all the way from landing and grouping up to move to DZRP
  • Platoon fought together well. Good platoon assault on apartments. Got support from Helios when needed. 7 was always around
  • Squad reacted well to orders and was able to get on top of what needed to be done

Improves:
  • Leaders recon should take proper personnel. Or at least a security element.
  • CQB was loose. Had uncleared floors in apartments. Took a lot of casualties being not careful
  • Squad had personal improves: Improved spacing and being more methodical on movements. Lack of initiative in succession of command.
  • Mi8 rockets brought frames down

Pros:
  • Fun operation. Good leadership and Game Masters. Operation was difficult, but was incredibly engaging. 9/10, would lawn dart again.
  • Fantastic platoon movement. Traveling overwatch was second nature to most elements.
  • Excellent comms, chaos considered. SPOTREPS and orders were clear coming down and going up the CoC.
  • Fantastic resupply effort, and medical effort from HELIOS and MISFIT-7, respectively,
  • Good following of fire orders from the members of MISFIT-4

Cons:
  • MISFIT-4 Actual misunderstood an order that led to the element out of position, and out of tempo with the platoon for a brief time.
  • Total of 3x Black tags in MISFIT-4.
  • Tricky objective led to confusion and slow pace in clearing/capturing.
  • Obvious technical issues with the jump system. No real issue there.

---

  • MISFIT-4 maneuvered as a screening element for the platoon, though we did end up out of position as we pushed hostiles off of the north-western approach.. Issue was fixed, and we continued into the objective compound.
  • Squad bounded East, then South to the far corner. Moved south as a squad, engaging in MOUT as we scouted a good SBF position.
  • Got bogged down as we took fire from the apartment buildings on the East side of the objective. Took 1x Red-tag. MISFIT-7 resolved the issue and we pushed on.
  • Took 1x Black-tag, and 1x Red-Tag near the reactor building. Recovered the injured and treated. Westcott and Lucander led a small element to take the building we were taking fire from.
  • After the aforementioned building was clear, MISFIT-4 occupied it as an SBF position. Provided multi-axis covering fire for the platoon from the second floor for the remainder of the operation.

Pros:
  • Lots of re-arms of squads
  • Successful demo of BTR and layed mines on the southern entrance in order to deter vehicles from pushing.
  • Overall good op

Cons:
  • For time sake, squads need to give 1 person up to the Helios attachment with them to quickly get ammo to their squads so ammo gets given out in a timely manner.

Pros:

  • first time as lead medic I hope it wasn't terrible as a lead medic

Cons:
  • Mods for the medical kit didn't work properly.
  • CLS did not talk much on the medical net
  • didn't expect to be lead medic

Pros:
  • Really fun objective
  • Movement to the facility was really fun and pretty well done
  • The Helios detachment worked really well with Misfit-1
  • The bounding leading up to phase line green was very solid with solid bounding all around as well.
Cons:
  • We kinda got stuck in a strange spot trying to hold any position in the south
  • Random unmarked building on map as well as map not displaying forests correctly

Pros:
  • Good communication with Buffalo, they were very effective.
  • Misfit-7 was on point, wherever we needed them, they were there!
  • The platoon adapted to very dynamic and challenging circumstances.
  • Very fun objective!
  • Misfit-5 was very effective and kept things moving with Misfit-3 and Misfit-4.
Cons:
  • It was unfortunate that the parachute mod didn't work, but either way it was a blast and good to get reps in!
  • Succession of command lacked in some instances.

Pros:
  • Fun mission. I think it went better than the first go around.
  • Comms between me and Buffalo flight were tight; they provided great ISR information, were always on the horn with what they were doing, and provided excellent CAS under my direction.
  • Assault went well.
  • Defensive portion went well having half the platoon at the gate and the others clearing the remaining interior apartment buildings.
  • 7 was effective and kept me alive.
Cons:
  • No Parachute - Lawn Darts
  • When we got resupply on the roof from Buffalo, they dropped like 7 backpacks full of misc gear; I was the sole runner, and by the time I got 3 of the backpacks back and forth to the platoon, the rest of them had despawned.
  • I was aiding MISFIT-3 doing interior clearing of the power plant buildings, and therefore wasn't doing my job scouting out LZs for reinsert at that time.
  • Took a little too long to get inside the wire and to the 3+4 AP/SBF. Our tempo slowed and we ended up crawling through places where we had minimal cover and concealment.
