Pros:
  • Great tanking! Our tank game was strong in both matches
  • Command comms were good
Cons:
  • For tanks to be limited to the E/F line on this map was rough. AT and satchels unrestricted behind us was not good.
  • Rules seemed not to be followed by all; when the Axis owned the point, several OPs were found.
  • Would have been nice to have more infantry with us; in hindsight, we did not ask for infantry support plus we were not in a place that made sense for infantry to be there.
  • SATCHELS ARE THE BANE OF OUR EXISTENCE

Pros:
  • Squad did fantastic.
  • Comms were efficient and were clear majority of the time.
Cons:
  • Not a huge fan of the 'no OP's' rule. Is what it is.
  • Team cohesion during the second match seemed to lack. A lot of squads wandering off and not coordinating with others.
  • Team left a lot of openings, and the enemy team was able to capitalize on that.
  • Need to work on as players of HLL the discipline of playing the match for the team and not for your own personal scores/goals.

Pros:
Had fun, enemy was well placed and movement on both sides was good
Cons:
Briefing seemed a little rushed, might have contributed to foul up during first match
Some lagging throughout both matches

Pros:
  • Great coms!
  • Overall really good teamwork!
Cons:
  • Very few calls to take out arty. Recon doesn't know how it is affecting the point if we are in the backlines.

Pros:
Great ability to move flexibly around point.
Squad did amazing with comms and supplies.
Cons:
People not following objectives.
Map flip stopped momentum.
Garrison placement lacked. We didn't have good sectors for enemy advancement.

Pros:
-Comms were great hats off to Hermes for that.

Cons
-Squads clearly were not working together for a common point. Over time it left some wondering what they were doing in their given areas.
-The enemy took WN7....like thats crazy to me. I don't understand how that happens
-Recon was not taking out arty. Period. We needed that to happen and it didn't
-I personally am not a fan of AB tactics. That is my personal stance since we never truly established a firm front line push.

Thank you folks for putting this on. It take many many many people to put this stuff together so hats off to you.

Pros:
  • Great Command direction, passage of information, markers etc were spot on. Good reactions to the changing situation.
  • Good work from my sniper, he passed great intel and did solid work.
  • Good aggressive plays from the whole team overall
Cons:
  • Idiots not following OPORD or listening to command
  • Some squads had almost useless members who were no better than rando's. We need to hold poor troops to account more for not following orders or doing their jobs.

Pros:
  • Well done with friendly infantry around us. They helped a bunch with with keeping satchels off.
  • Command comms were good, if not busy.
  • Allied tanks were in solid positions thru the whole match and made it difficult to hit.
  • Axis Inter/Intra-tank comms were very solid.
  • I like the ruleset in general. Would be interested to see how this could play out on a different map.
  • Loved my tank crew. They made TC'ing that much easier.
Cons:
  • Map limitations on positioning is very interesting and not itself a con but does make a map that is congested in the middle hard to get shots off on approaching tanks.
  • The always present infantry behind the tanks made it near impossible to set up any attacking positioning. I spent most of the match repositioning and repairing. Its more of an annoyance for me than a con for the OP.
  • Infantry comms around us were low and I believe that some of the heat we took from allied infantry could have been communicated to the tank better in local comms.
  • The allied infantry fired multiple times at the front of out axis tanks and were never going to do any damage (know your damage models)

Pros:
  • Strong work between sister squads (Bean and eventually Donk)
  • Taking the top offensive score is a plus.
  • Squads communication, movement, and coordination was excellent.
  • Fun running with troopers I don't normally run with

Cons:
  • First iteration was rough. My squad specifically were very behind on our job in regards to nodes. I failed to realize our builder crashed. The truck didn't leave the spawn until 20 seconds before official go live.
  • I felt that more effort could have been spent focusing more specifically on the actual point instead of the hard flanks, on the attack.
  • Garri game was not strong.
  • Defensively, we should have been focusing heavily on controlling the point instead of being in east bufu. So many times we could have held the point had we had the bodies. We had plenty alive. Just not where it was beneficial
  • The enemy arty was a constantly being utilized without being contested.
  • Minimal flare work on our end.

Allies in the south initially:

Pros:Was a good fight, think we got the worst of it.
Was intense and was happy for what we were able to pull off.
Appreciated working with other squad leads in a operation as I don't have much experience in it.

Cons:
Had difficulty moving so kudos to the other team.
My guys had fun,but it was definitely a meat grinder.
Command comms were a bit hectic, but was likely due to last minute circumstances. I will try to sign up for leadership sooner in the future to allow for more planning.

Truck on round 1 took too long on the getting off the southern beach, due to last minute changes/ uncertain numbers it was tough to shuffle who was going to do what. Round 2 was a bit better in this regard, though still failed to get an OP on artillery battery for a double drop.

Didn't have the time to get an AT gun up near defensive, enemy bombing run on our supps that were intended for it, and didn't want to build it on our garry position.

I left an OP up. Our squad did not spawn on it as I instructed, but I should have removed it sooner. My misunderstanding and lack of focus.

Pros:
  • Good game plan
  • Excellent squad comms
  • My squad had a great time playing together.
  • Phenomenal job holding and reacting to contact in the North both rounds
Cons:
  • The obvious reset
  • Lack of garrison building by other SLs
  • Lack of support box drops by troopers for future garrisons
  • Command chat got a little wild but nothing deafening
