Pros:

Squad had fun and enjoyed their task of attacking/defending enemy positions
Squad communication was very on point.
Squad movement was on point.
Squads cohesion across the team was very good and when people were needed they were johnny on the spot.

Cons:
AO restrictions a bit confusing to a degree but once we were playing it was figured out quickly
Predetermined squad allocations/assignments would prove useful for the beginning with Nodes and who is pulling what up to where.

Notes:

  • There were two D'Amicos in one squad. It was the most transcendent of experiences. I cried tears of joy. It was too powerful though, so please nerf in the next update.
  • A lot of fun for the Axis side.
  • The flank available to the Allies seemed a little too far to be effective, and the Allies never really used it. We expected them to come up with tanks out of I6, but it never manifested.
  • Opening the south flank to the Allies seemed good in theory. However, we expected it the entire match and positioned ourselves accordingly. I think it would have been more effective to give the Allies an advantage that the Axis could not predict. That would have been a true backdoor flank.

Solids

  • Great team, very solid command comms & squad comms.
  • Milkovic killed 3 garrisons and 8 outposts. Medal incoming.
  • Flexible throughout, playing near-point defense. Very good work by the boys.

Improvements
  • Teams were were unbalanced. Perhaps we should include a "level range" section in sign ups to see the level of veterancy of troopers.

Pros:
Fun match, liked the concept of it.

Good command coordination, effective callouts and passage of intel. Good reaction to changing situations and tactical issues. Not too cluttered with pointless chatter.
Recon worked well, solid intel and my sniper worked well as a semi independent asset.

Cons:
Adding extra resources, bombruns etc because the other side were doing badly was a little irritating, though i understand why it was done.
Games hit reg as usual was challenging at times and made it harder for us to do our job occasionally.

All names have been added to the opening post.

Pros:

  • An outstanding team. Playing Commander in a 7Cav operation for the first time felt like a cakewalk compared to a public match.
    • There was no need to scramble to maintain the garrison network with supply drops and trucks—Squad Leaders took the initiative, handling both supply management and garrison construction independently.
    • The original plan was disrupted when the enemy team captured the midpoint, but the team immediately switched to a defensive posture and adapted to the new situation.
  • Excellent communication in Command Comms. No unnecessary chatter—just clear and effective callouts.
  • I was concerned that players on the opposing team might rage quit, but that was not the case. They fought steadfastly and tirelessly until the very end, which I deeply respect.
  • A special thanks to Second Lieutenant Swanson.B, who stepped in at the last minute to take the role of the Allies Commander.

Cons:

  • Unfortunately, the teams were unbalanced, which I regret since we are all here to have fun. The average Axis team level was 177, while the Allies averaged 151. Whether this is a reliable indicator is debatable, as my own level alone raises the average by 10, yet I didn't even encounter an enemy until minute 42. Late sign-ups make early placement impossible, but for the next operation, I will consult participating platoon staff approximately 30 minutes in advance to gather their input.
  • Tanks do not function as force multipliers if the team lacks the manpower to support them. As a result, they were ineffective in providing the losing team with a viable counterbalance.
  • The operation as a whole requires more players to function effectively in the current state. One possible adjustment could be unlocking the Southern HQ earlier, immediately after losing the midpoint, with permission to build spawns. This would force the defending team at the midpoint to prepare for a two-front battle, increasing tactical depth.
