Pros:
Good amount of injuried
Good comms in squad/7
good medical treatment
Good MassCal handling
Fast setup and step off
Good movement and Treating to members at first crossing

Cons:

Atlas had no Cover when Treating once we reached Mike-Station
Alot of going to Squads that were asking for Atlas and upon getting there they just refused to get treated and moved off

Pros:
  • A one life where PEOPLE DIE which is good to see, sad that people miss out but provides extra threat
  • Huge volume of medical work
  • Lots of contact and firefights in close range
  • Good coordination with adjacent elements (Misfit-2, Misfit-4)
  • Good infantry procedures
    • Good fireteam comms
    • Good security and fireteams coordinating sectors of coverage
  • Hugely positive feedback on this mission from everyone in Misfit-1
  • Enemy 40mm was the perfect balance of suppressive without being frustrating
Cons:
  • Something spanked the back of our platoon at Air Station Mike 26 which put us on a precipice of a mission failure. Led to a really good recouperation situation but I feel like it could have been prevented.
  • Some instances of CQB could be improved
  • 2 black tags

Element Callsign: Misfit-5
Element Leader: Staff Sergeant Hilberg.A

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Specialist Rok.M
Private First Class Donovan.J

Pros:
  • There were no black tags.
  • Excellent job on Misfit-4 and a split Misfit-2 establishing security around LZ Snow Cone, as they were the first wave of inserts.
  • Misfit-4 and Misfit-2 conduct true blocking tasking and eliminate many enemies through chaotic environments and comms.
  • In the initial phase, Misfit-2 and Misfit-4 handled all contact efficiently.
  • Good movement to link back up at Air Station Mike.
  • Good assault on the airfield by Misfit-4.
  • Good comms with Raven.
  • In the initial phase, Misfit-2 and Misfit-4 handled all contact efficiently.

Cons:
  • I had a good sense of when to consolidate with Misfit-6 and Misfit-1 but got decisively engaged, slowing us down.
  • We figured it out but played some musical vehicles at the re-consolidation point.
  • It is not necessarily a con, but for re-inserts, recommend rotary wing assets wait to call up packs for re-inserts when they are ready to go wheels up.

PROs:
  • Squad was very well coordinated and did their basics.
  • Contact across the airfield was really fun and everyone enjoyed the intense firefights.
  • No black tags.
  • Succession was very good.
CONs:
  • Teams were unhappy having to walk up the hill when trucks could have been brought down and saved some time.
  • Not a con per se but would like to see how that mission could have played out with 2 in reserve as a rapid reaction force.

Element Callsign: Misfit-7
Element Leader: First Lieutenant Sam.T

Pros:

  • Excellent work from the medical teams!
  • Great flexibility from Atlas and the Platoon.
  • Managed extreme levels of contact effectively.
  • Ad hoc airfield assault went well.
  • Split platoon/squad-level tasking was an interesting concept; I would like to see this refined.
  • Excellent work from Misfit-1 pulling casualties to the medics during our MASCAS. This 100% kept people alive and enabled us to manage those casualties.
  • One-Life OPs are unique and phenomenal! I would love to see more of these, as we haven't had many this year!
  • I'm glad the CLS from Misfit-1 grabbed the AED from the truck when we dismounted! Those trucks didn't get brought up until after the assault, and it came in clutch!

Cons:
  • Another OP with 4/5x the friendly force size was reported. In this scenario, it was across the Island, which is understandable, but it's developing into a trend in OPs/OPORDs.
  • The use of OPFOR equipment is another developing trend.
  • BLUE on BLUE is another regular occurrence/developing trend.
  • Communication regarding casualties from squads was suboptimal. In a scenario where the platoon was stretched through several hundred meters of treeline, receiving a position and number of casualties is essential.

Pros:
  • For being a split operation, communication was great.
  • Good contact, Great violence of action
  • Fraggos make the mission more fun
  • Good use of all weapon systems

Cons:
  • Blue on Blue, both out going and incoming
  • 1 Black tag at the very end
  • Iffy but workable positions
