Element Callsign: Grizzly-1
Element Leader: Chief Warrant Officer 2 Spin.M

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • Good comms with 5
  • Fun to use the Grizzly for a sling load

Cons:
  • Grizzly only had one job/one flight for the entire 2 hour OP, but it was successful and great to use the new CH47 for sling loads
  • Could not load the vehicles into the back of the 47, might need a different variant/remove seats to make it work
  • Would have been better with more crew instead of pulling the Raven folks over for extra eyes

First Lieutenant Narramoor.A
First Lieutenant Sam.T

Non-7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Expendable Joe

Pros:
  • ATLAS had a blast. Lots of action and lots of work
  • Lots of different injuries to treat
  • Good use of CCPs with placement and troops moving to CCPs
  • In team communications and medical net was on point
  • Good triage calls
  • Good react to IDF/contact
Cons:
  • ATLAS-1 team ALPHA and BRAVO getting mixed up. Not ideal for medical equipment pairing
  • An ATLAS-2 team would have been useful
  • High black tags
  • Non-authorized equipment and OPFOR gear being used

Pros:

  • Everyone overall enjoyed the Op
  • Lots of casualties with diverse treatments
  • The teamwork internally in Atlas was superb
  • The movement of the Atlas team and the communication between them and -7 was well done tonight

Cons:

  • The plan seemed to fall apart when transitioning into AOI 2 and AOI 3
  • The calls I did receive from squad leads were very minimal in information
  • Mass Cas calls were either inaccurate or called too late which resulted in black tags
  • The lack of medical personnel also resulted in Atlas-1 being very constrained
Notes: E-NVGs are accessible to regular infantry in the Arsenal and it was reported to me by an Atlas Team Member.

Another issue we seem to have when calling a MASS CAS is that we see bodies, we call it and that's not how it should work. Mass Cas from my experience should be called if it is 3+ red tags, otherwise a regular CASEVAC or MEDEVAC call to -7 will suffice. Remember that when you call a Mass Cas, ALL the medical personnel will shift if not in contact or stuck in a different call.

  • Heavy contact
  • Good Mission
  • Good Mess
  • Secured Hostages
  • Buddy Work
  • Teamwork is good
  • Well for amount of people we had

Cons:
  • Confusing Orders
  • Saw enemies spawn in
  • Plan was too optemistic
  • IED Drones (can't hear them)
  • Too many objects in mosque hurt performance
  • Medical Settings are a bit fucked

Pros:
  • A lot of fun
  • McAllen was a great driver
  • Great communication and coordination with Raven and Grizzly
  • Drones were an interesting touch
Cons:
  • Ended up doing vehicle repairs, which I was not prepared for
  • Manpads on the Mosque were not marked, and Grizzly was hit by 2x AA rockets because I set the DZ near them, unaware of their presence

Element Callsign: REAPER Flight
Element Leader: Specialist Fox.R

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Specialist Laui.M

Pros:
  • Outstanding job by Laui.M as Reaper-2 who, despite visiting from HLL, handled the drone, the ISR tasks, and all comms very competently.
  • As ever, exemplary communication with Chaos (Kastor.K).
  • From the air and the safe distance, the op seemed well set up and balanced.
  • Responsive and very helpful Zeus.
  • We all seemed to like the inclusion of enemy IED drones a lot and had fun finding them and taking them out.
Cons:
  • Slight radio issues at the beginning of the op, which Zeus quickly resolved.
  • In future ops with 2 drone operators, it might be more fun for everyone if both drones are armed.

Pros:
  • Buzzword: Cinematic! AO's and Map were like being in a movie...that and everything exploding all the time! Great atmosphere!
  • FTL's and Troopers were ON POINT this evening! ACE reports prompt and accurate. Individual soldier discipline was great across the board.
  • Initial convoy was excellent!
  • Mission was a meat-grinder but never felt un-winnable. Good job MC's pushing us to our limits.
Cons:
  • Unnecessary 40mm HE AFTER the mosque was secured was raining shrapnel onto my squads security position.
  • Humvees in an urban environment, though necessary for quick movements, are just a pain in the ass to baby sit for an entire OP. Perhaps just treating them as transportation instead of force multipliers and dismounting (without fear of retribution from MC's) would be fun!
  • SL-SL comms on PLT net were lackluster at some points....making coordination tough.

Pros:
  • Great Convoy/Convoy Comms
  • Side, rear security being thrown at us
  • Great squad TRPs by my FTLs
  • React to contact; great use of 3 D's
  • Quick AAA from MISFIT-5 to fix our Alpha Vic after it was disabled during AOI-1 coverage
  • MOUT tactics well employed especially between AOI 2 and 3
  • React to IDF was fantastic
  • So much fun! Well designed Operation; much credit to the mission creators; Diverse: we had SBF, Assault, Drones, counter attacks, MOUT, and CQB all within 2 hours.
Cons:
  • Frame drop at mosque due to too many objects placed
  • Being rushed out of our methodical MOUT tactics between AOI 2 and 3 by 5, albeit understandable
  • Slow IED identification
  • Me hard crashing for no reason after AOI-2
