Pros:
  • Troopers and Leaders adjusted to changing battle conditions
  • Great combined arms work
  • 7Cav win
Cons:
  • Opposing Clan did their best to mess up every detail of the match
  • Some orders fell flat
  • Comms were slightly muddled at times

Pros:
  • Crew chemistry REALLY strong between, one of my favorite crew makeups this year.
  • Our hold on the south, although boring, felt very crucial to choking out southern flanks and ensuring enemy didn't have an effective southern attack.
  • Strider's gameplan for armor operations was very effective. Simple being robust, allowed for great flexibility with defined objectives
  • RET.Smith.E's squad (SGT.Rhodes ESPECIALLY) provided terrific support, through repairs, call outs, and anything in between. Our longest life was thanks to their support.
  • Command comms held pretty tight for a majority of the time, armor discord system still working very well
Cons:
  • None seen from my boys.

Pros:
  • Great map markers for tanks and infantry
  • in squad teamwork and comms was amazing. Really impressive how effective our 3 man team was.
  • Love it when a plan comes together * cigar in mouth, giving a thumbs up *
  • 7Cav o7
Cons:
  • Opposing clan felt unprepared
  • Sometimes just watched enemy tanks running into walls while our satchel-er would just walk up and pop in uncontested.
  • Leadership comms was a little muddled with people stepping on others.

Pros:
  • Great planning. Perfect mix of preparation while leaving room for adapting to the enemy.
  • We reacted to enemy pushes extremely well and even went up north and held a larger force at bay for about 10 minutes
  • Great push into Customs
Cons:
  • 173rd continues to struggle to field a full team.
  • Command comms. were a bit chaotic and people were stepping over each other leading to confusion
  • Nodes were not built properly at the start. We had to go back and build nodes that infantry squads should have been able to build without an issue.

  • Good passage of intel.
  • Good execution of Practised plan
  • Good freedom to do recon work.
Cons:

  • 173rd could be more organised in future.

Pros:
  • All tankers showed up
  • Crews performed outstandingly
  • Map markers were put down and updated very well
  • Able to flex into changed ruleset
  • Kept the enemy luchs off the point at the batt allowing us to capture the middle point
Cons:
  • Opposing team was not prepared, and did not pull up with numbers needed, even thought that the map was going to be different that what was discussed supposedly. Either communication or opponents need to be held accountable
  • Ruleset changed at the last minute, forcing a change in plans
  • COMM's in command were loud and not clear, it was hard to coordinate my crews where needed later in the match

Pros:
  • Previous weeks practice paid off.
  • Solid intel to allied tanks
  • Silenced enemy arty majority of the match
  • Caused enemy commander to dedicate countless supply drops to build up around arty.
Cons:

  • More communication with 173 as they seemed very confused.

Pros:
  • Great planning, was able to know the plan at all times, even after capping new sectors
  • We pushed and help Town Center held it immediately, good match start tactics.
  • We did not lose steam on the attack after we capped but slowly pushed Customs and capping after a while.
  • Garrisons were maxed out many times.
  • Loved having all the extra sign ups, was very helpful today.
  • South side of Town Center was defended solidly by James, Bizutto, Hermes, and Balazova, I didn't even have to patrol down there.
Cons:
  • We're too good.

Pros:
  • Fun overall operation.
  • Cav owned!
Cons:
  • 173 is significantly below our skill level irrespective of whether they were prepared or not -- perhaps some more challenging opponents?
  • 173 failed to bring out enough guys.

Pros:
  • Practice makes perfect in some regards, the practice driving and lane picks for driving made significant time savings (PFC.Korfias)
  • The squad performed the assigned duties requested of them, picketing and screening all enemy movements in the northern portions of carentan removing enemy advancement and not allowing a foothold to develop
  • Excellent gun fight wins - excellent slow movement and fighting up narrow alley ways
  • removed multiple OPs on probing routes
  • the one garrison they had setup near factory and church was immediately collapsed upon and removed
Cons
  • not a full team on the other side but allowed auxiliary 7CAV to run slots
  • two instances where squad lead flexed the squad out to try to generate another front that fell on its face, not much consequence for it though

Private First Class Korfias.F
Private Woody.W

Pros:
  • Swift drive to Town Center courtesy of PFC.Korfias.F and his diligence prior to the Op nailing his routes down.
  • Played a textbook example of active defense, Squad consistently pushed outside of Town Center to sweep our four square (and slightly beyond) ensuring that the enemy never was able to secure a foothold to attack from.
  • Although it was never used, SPC.Sokol.Z, with constant supply from PVT.Woody.W, did an excellent job mounting up defensive structures to our east in preparation for an attack and PFC.Korfias.F was able to set up two mine traps on our borders.
  • Carmine was able to construct a godsend Garrison deep in their north HQ that allowed us to finish the last cap immediately as we ambushed them from behind.
  • Excellent spread of garrisons which allowed us to always tell where an attack or push was coming from based off warm spawns.
  • We had enough signups for a team and a half which really shows 2nd Battalion's growth this year.
Cons:
  • 173rd had troubles fielding a team. If we continue to schedule against them in the future, it may not be a bad plan to have some other friendly clans and communities on standby, or even in conjunction during the initial scheduling, to ensure an enemy force can be guaranteed.
  • A few times during the attack on Customs, it looked like a majority of our offense was bottle-necked down one or two roads instead of spreading itself out and clearing the several alleyways south of Custom bridge (I could only see from the map though, they could have been clear).

Sergeant Whaley.H

Pros:
  • Tank crew coordinated well and performed well above expectations
  • Tank driver was especially competent and was able to expertly navigate the tank through narrow obstacles and difficult terrain
  • Infantry provided excellent intel on enemy armor positions and established a frontline facilitating armored support of infantry pushes
Cons:
  • Carentan is a difficult map for tanks in general, but the tank crew seemed to overcome
  • Enemy team failed to fully fill out their team and needed to be supplemented with 7Cav members

Element Leader: 173rd Squad Lead
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

PFC.Mead.T
SPC.Blade.B
PVT. Ackerman

Pros
  • Great coordination on the north side fight of town center, able to apply methods learned by 7th cav to use against themselves
  • SPC.Blade.B demonstrated expert level machine gun skills holding up entire lanes of 7th cav advances
  • PVT. Ackerman stepped up to help coordinate defense and help where it was needed
  • PFC.Mead satcheled and denied advance of 3 allied tanks north of town center until the rear flanks fell on customs
  • Very fun to be able to fight against our own guys and see the great work they've put in weekly
  • Highest combat score of any infantry unit on AXIS side
  • Could definitely see the coordination of 7th cav squad leads to try and stop us in the north
Cons
  • 173rd not prepared
  • wish 7th cav members were allowed to run their own infantry squads on the AXIS side but understandable because it is the 173rds team
  • 7th cav is too good to not go up against better competition (no offense 173rd)
