Element Callsign: Bandit-2
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Tucker.C

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Captain Mackey.A
Second Lieutenant Bethea.A
Staff Sergeant Westcott.R
Staff Sergeant Oldham.G
Sergeant Fox.Z
Sergeant Crowley.T
Corporal Zaren.T
Corporal Almaguer.R
Corporal Mobius.T

Pros:
  • We had fun. This group is a prime example of the best of the best. Very happy to have been able to run with them. Great individual trooper discipline and skill.
  • Contact started out as fun and enjoyable, but became overwhelming and exhausting.
  • CQB and MOUT work was done extremely well tonight, even with the sheer level of casualties.
  • We snagged that HVT!
  • CH-47 drop was amazing. Excellent deployment by Bandit-1 and Bandit-2 on the drop, and excellent work moving to the FOB from there. Clean run on a HOT LZ. Give me more CH-47s.
  • No black tags.
  • Amazing CLS work tonight by Mobius. He kept many of us alive.
  • Great cross loading between squad members, and the platoon. Excellent work at dispersing resupply.

Cons:
  • Blue-on-blue occurred north of POI5 during a building clearance. Reports state that CHAOS was the culprit here. Support assets should not be clearing buildings on their own.
  • Android device continues to crash games. Be aware.
  • FPS slowdowns were crippling within such a dynamic and tight CQB environment.
  • Intermingled units and crossing fields of fire. We desperately needed designated lanes.
  • FRACTURES. (Medical settings need to be adjusted. Most of the time, I was combat ineffective due to waiting on getting my guys back to fighting strength.)
  • In addition to the above point, ATLAS seemed slow tonight in getting our guys back to fighting strength. We'd typically have ATLAS on station relatively quickly; however, it took forever to get us functional again.
  • Contact was absolutely insane. We had over 150 kills within our squad alone.
  • ATLAS was ahead of us during the assault on POI2.
  • We were almost friendly-fired by Bandit-4 at POI2 with a MAAWS round that engaged an enemy vehicle that was dangerously close to my fireteams.
  • Low rotary turn out.

Honorary Grizzly Pilot
SPC Mason.H

Pros:
  • Good overall mission, stayed busy thanks to Bandit 5
  • Was fun to fly the Grizzly on insert during night time.
  • Got to do some gunning at the end which is always fun.
  • Use of the FARP made a massive difference with comms.

Cons:
  • Short on pilots, wasn't able to outfit Raiders and Buffalos as planned
  • Was only 2 re-inserts. 1 of which was a DC. Die more :)

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Pros:
  • Fair amount of area to ISR and pop up trucks/infantry to target and bomb.
  • Great start Corporal Nomad.P first time as new CHAOS.
  • Excellent adaptation to use 2x CH-47s (with CHAOS 1 as temporary pilot) for initial insertion when only 1 Buff pilot attended in beginning.

Cons:
  • Plan was for ~2 Apaches + 1 Lightning, but attendance only allowed for 0 apaches + 2 Lightnings.
  • Urban environment, at night, with low fps on server; difficult environment to work from with lots of shouting and occasionally blue on blue.

Element Callsign: Bandit-5
Element Leader: Staff Sergeant Narramoor.A

Pros

  • Excellent working with the one Buffalo we did have, SPC.Sawyer.H
  • Thank you to S3 for getting things operational again, the quality of life improvements from the mods are also a welcome change.
  • Great mission making by CW2.Sparrow.P
  • Great planning by 1LT.Beiter.A, and great subsequent pace in execution from all of the elements. Individuals demonstrated high skill, maintained common sense and awareness.
  • Fast & efficient rearm from the platoon, with adequate guard on the LZs.
Cons
  • Low rotary aviation turnout, led to the use of the dreaded Grizzlies
  • Failed on to take up 2IC, be sure to communicate 6 being down on the net.
  • Object/AI density caused a little chug (even for the the windows VM)
  • I should have effectively designated reconsolidation blocking/defence position so the platoon wasn't pooled together

Pros:

-Quite a lot of fighting and closer quarters for a weapons squad to engage which was fun, our troopers got to get into the thick of it which weapons generally don't get to do.
-Good Squad to Squad comms Bandits 1,2 and 4 communicating well with each other throughout the assault.
- Thank you so much S3 for getting everything sorted and all the work you put in for such a short amount of time to turn it over to allow for us to play this operation, much appreciated.

Cons:
-Initial LZ was questionable and our fallback plan for it was not addressed if it went bad, bandit-4 being the only squad to move north to not get bogged down if the LZ turned into a bogged down situation.
-Initial SBF was not very applicable for weapons, though I could not see a better one.
-Lack of verticality for Weapons to take advantage of throughout the operation.
-We need much better laser and light discipline across all squads.
-Too many troopers crossing in front of MGs without calling crossing which lead to my MG gunners being more passive out of fear of Blue on Blue incidents.
-MG Gunner slots not able to access Sidearms in Arsenal and were not spawned with one.
-MG Ammo bearer slot was unable to access Arsenal saying the slot did not have permissions.
-FTL slots lot having access to getting packing or quickclot bandages in Arsenal and did not spawn with them.
