Pros:
  • A good amount of casualties.
  • This was a massive improvement from last week's medical POV.
  • Our hand-offs were solid when exchanging casualties.
  • This was a good use of MEDEVAC.
Cons:
  • OP lore and higher command intent felt really wonky tonight. Pushing aviation (Bison) into a super-non-permissive environment and conducting a "feint attack" that was realistically just an assault was not very immersive.
  • A few instances of "Who's the red tag? Who's the red tag?" and people bleeding out in the back of your Stryker should probably be more important, and someone (squad CLS?) should be tracking that.

Pros:
Good amount of contact and actions for the event.
Very good convoy and platoon comms and reaction to contacts.
Good communication with Choas and myself as well as 7.

Cons:
The original opord called for a feigning attack which turned into a full blown assault.
No tally on any emplaced SAM sites that we could find with drone or eyes, no idea if they were there at all.

Pros:
  • Great company which made the OP enjoyable and extremely important for fun factor.
  • Lots of examples of internal people stepping in when SL was uncon multiple times.
  • Decent engagement at the start.
  • Solid plan with little notice.
  • Viking-3 was on point when flexing when VK-2 had a mass cas
Cons:
  • Definitely need to improve on react to IDF
  • Didn't destroy our down vehicle
  • Some chaos with consolidating vehicles with no seats
  • Not a feint in execution

Pros:
  • Nice to have driver Crowley in the Sierra!
  • Lots of contact, lots of dispatching of contact by elements
  • Sustained a lot of contact, reacting to QRF and engaging reinforcements, drawing out forces in a 'defense in depth'.
  • Atlas had plenty of tasking and very good medevac procedures.
  • We succeeded in gauging the enemy's reaction times (Fast) and level of response (Vast).
  • Excellent persistence and passion by Mission Maker Sparrow, unfortunate he was plagued by Battleeye issues
Cons:
  • Late planning from myself on the OPORD.
  • Repair issues with Viking-2's sierra. Viking-2 definitely got the short straw, apologies.
  • I didn't get comms with godfather (was listening on wrong net, 53 as opposed to 50)
  • Went unconscious during the 'crucial window', of the feint of the operation. Telinov did VERY well picking up on the intent.
  • OP plan was more of a 1-hour timeframe for a feigning attack. I (wrongly) altered the plan to resemble more like an assault, followed by a defence in depth to the QRF. This ended in most contacts being out of small arms range due to terrain. Not as entertaining as it could have been for infantry.
  • We were unable to positively identify static AA locations.

Pros:
  • Had a good time moving in and assisting VIKING-2 in their hour of need.
  • Squad performance was excellent. Would have loved to be able to use it.
  • I was able to induce nightmares among at least three members of Viking-3. "Mount up! Dismount!"
Cons:
  • Feint attack didn't feel like a feint in execution. 6's intent altered mid op which was good but it turned into a fallback which was not needed. We had the upper hand.
  • Lack of contact/activities for infantry.
  • Scope was off for amount of assets. Primary intent was too short for WFW.
  • For what engagements were available, the Stryker was really the only one that could engage reliably. Range was extreme for infantry.

Warrant Officer 1 Bloggins.R (BISON-1)

Pros:
  • Quite action-heavy with lots of contact.
  • Bison crew not trained on new CAS procedures, however they adapted quickly and prosecuted several targets. Highly commendable!
Cons:
  • Previous OP gave us Reaper and Raider. In this OP (continuing from last OP) we are pushing enemy SAM territory with only Bison slots available.
  • Bison crew suffered several technical difficulties/delays with the newer complicated Bison aircraft. This severely reduced their time on station.
  • Plan was not written until last minute, made it difficult to plan expected CAS environment as Chaos element.

Pros:
  • Had a great time and lots of fun with our friends.
  • Co-Pilot did a really fantastic job, (even though it was Bloggins.R lol). Neither he or I are really versed in the new FAC stuff, but we managed. #ImproviseAdaptOvercome.

Cons:
  • Messy, ill-prepared OPORD. Briefing was sub-optimal. Planning was definitely an issue on this one bros.
  • Very, very, very difficult issues with the 114k Hellfires. First they would not lock from the outset of the mission. Then we got frustrated and [foolishly] attempted a Hydra rocket run, but the overwhelming AA shot us down [SAM], but were able to auto-rotate land and live. Then we get another bird, and magically, the Hellfires are working properly, so we got multiple kills. Then we RTB for re-arm and all of a sudden, Hellfires aren't working again. It would be really nice if Alpha Co. could figure out what the problem is here, or AT LEAST A FIX so that BISON can be used effectively with Hellfires. I was told this has something to do with the laser, but I never have a problem with BISON on regular TacR or Eden Editor, so hmmm, who knows. We need to figure it out though. #Testing.
  • I did accidentally violate the ROZ a couple times, but this map is so small, the bird moves so fast.
  • Ammo truck had no ammo. This really shouldn't ever happen because then we have to trouble Godfather.
