Pros:
  • Platoon performed well

  • Good comms

Cons:
  • Some minor comms issues but remedied quickly

Pros:
  • Super fun OP to Zeus, and add RP, too—lots of playing with AI and simulated groaning.
  • Casualties that came in were handled really well. Some decent Red casualties came in that were worked through efficiently.
  • Additional non-combat tasking for 1/B is awesome. SSE, VIP extraction, and tactical questioning are all excellent ideas.
  • Squad CLSs and riflemen carrying CLS gear did awesome tonight! They definitely saved at least two red casualties by keeping them alive to get to the medics!
Cons:
  • The environment led to a very low casualty generation inside Viking, so most of our work was with AI. The lack of "spreading out" also contributed to Mustang's low amount of dedicated work. Mission scope is something we'll continue to refine.
  • Lack of planning and assignment of roles regarding SSE and teams. In the future, establishing a team specifically tasked with that activity and then a secondary medical tasking of medical work may be the way to go.
  • Lack of communication regarding what vehicles were being detonated led to a rather embarrassing MASCAL at the end of the OP.
  • Some more refinement of CEOI regarding internal platoon coms and MEDNET is due. I'll look into this in the near future.

Pros:
  • Great company with my overqualified taxi driver, Burton.
  • All Viking elements seemed to maintain good security and sustained themselves well without getting decisively engaged.
  • Great planning and flexibility from 6 and the adjacent/above command structure.
Cons:
  • My personal situational awareness suffered, didn't feel as though I was in a position to 2IC due to the 'blinkers' going on with reorganisation duties.
  • Some 'Vehicle Specialist' perms issues.
Takeaways:
  • Arsenal is too restrictive, doesn't allow multiroling within the squads or loading Sierras
  • Should Viking-5 have vehicle repair perms? Double check compositions to make sure that Sierra Crewmen have vehicle specialist perms.
  • Utilising cTab for reporting when the platoon net is busy

Pros:
  • Smooth running Op
  • Contact was appropriate
  • We had good control
  • Fun times
  • Medics did a great job
Cons:
  • Order of casualty treatment needs work
  • Need to learn how to stand on buildings
  • Squad comms were cluttered
  • Slow at times
  • Route in was rough
  • Using 3 D's more
  • Armi messed up and needs to learn how to demo better.
