Pros:
  • Great Comms/ marking of enemy assets/ forces
  • Intensive combat with Infantry and Tanks
  • Artillery both sides very deadly and accurate
  • Very even losses of Armor and Infantry (not too one sided face to face)
  • Great turnout of people, large ops are never boring!!
Cons:
  • Update 14 Infantry sprint as fast as tanks preventing escape from enemy satchels
  • Poor placements on occasion left Armor with pants down, getting overwhelmed by infantry
  • Occasionally poor cover Infantry to Armor with Satchels chasing
  • D-Day Operation should be in future on a D-Day theme map (I know we play them to death but...)
  • Connection to server was at times laggy or choppy causing crew annoyance or allowing easy deaths due to this

Pros:
  • Had good times shootin with the boys
  • Efficient comms
  • Phillips go brrr
  • Very hard fought no one likes a steamroll
Cons:
  • Tanks didn't support infantry very well
  • Point can be easily defended with the entire team on point due to the funnels of small town for cover and open fields
  • Lots of heavy tanks
  • Arty fire missions weren't very effective

Pros:
  • Great job holding right flank, troopers swapping roles when needed depending on map state, and rebuilding garrisons.
  • Comms on a squad, Platoon, and team level were clear and concise. Calls for support were answered promptly.
  • Squad was able to flex right flank support to support mid as well when our side was silent.
Cons:
  • None from our side, may have been more balanced to have Russians play defense first.

Pros:
  • Defenders played really well. Playing a focusing on the point and keeping the attackers at bay.
  • Axis tanks worked together really well and took on a bunch of tanks successfully.
  • Played well as a recon team, were able to deal with artillery and defend the point well.
Cons:
  • Was a slog for the attacking team.

First Sergeant Komar.T

Pros:
  • Turn out was fantastic, almost a full 100!
  • FTX planning and prep always fun and a great way to get leadership involved and engaged. Everyone knew their jobs and executed to near perfection.
  • Comms were great for the most part, always can be improved upon, but the new system worked well and will be a staple moving forward.
  • Successful defence for over an hour, great squad movement and reaction to contact, hole filling, adapting to the situation, tank to tank coordination top notch. Working as a team and committing fully to the defence.
Cons:
  • My Bombing run gaff cost us a chance at re-securing the point.
  • Seeding rules may have worked out better instead of 10 minute set up.
  • Tank / Infantry Coordination in town could use some working on, as things got a bit sloppy late.

PROS:

  • Comms w/ PLT was good and clear
  • Artillery was fairly quick to respond to fire mission requests
  • Effectively had garrisons replaced as they were found.
CONS:
  • Seemed like the Northern attack had zero tank support till mid match
  • Security for the tanks felt light with one squad trying to cover three tanks pushing in.
  • Felt like the enemy had free reign flanking us when we'd push into the church from the North

Pros:
  • Comms were improved over previous iterations for squad functions, relay of information and sit reps were clean - discord and command
  • Troopers performed SBF objectives for a good portion of the match, but were pushed off and took over qrf functions north of st. mary.
  • practice of suppression of enemy forces and using of the rest of the squad to destroy spawn points was working very well
  • aggression on the west flank was stopped by good pushes with machine gun overlays and over the shoulder firing
  • artillery felt effective but not oppressive
  • Infantry moved well to fill gaps and initiate aggression toward attack lanes
Cons:
  • the 10 minutes of setup was a bit much for setup for a german force being dug in - maybe do seeding rules for first 10 then initiate tug of war.
  • some lanes and flanks of attack were possibly not thought of (wide flanks) exposing rear arcs of assault to st mary

Solids:
  • The comms system we're using has proven very effective at minimizing the chaos of comms at multiple operations now.
  • We made significant improvements in security effectiveness throughout the Operation.
  • Intra-squad comms were strong and gunners were able autonmously perform fire missions without too much interference.
Improvements:
  • Need to continue improving the effectiveness of security operations near the battery. Make sure both the outpost and the spotter are dead before continuing.
  • Fortification effectiveness was lacking. Angles and lines of sight were not blocked effectivelly. We should consider likely sniper positions when creating them next. Also more AP mines. All of the AP mines.

Pros:
  • Adjusted communication technicalities within Discord made a difference
  • Communication from the top down to the squad level were superb
  • Precise and consistent pings regarding enemy
  • Strong defensive capability with the ability to immediately flex as a QRF
  • Would've had top combat effectiveness / Defensive over all squads (Corsino lost connection 75% through)
  • Strong playing over-all
  • Great sports on both sides

Cons:
  • On Defense again for a battalion FTX. Although that wasn't the plan.
  • Faster OP replacements
  • I personally was shoveled.

Pros:
  • Operation and battle were fun overall and all crew enjoyed themselves.
  • Allied armor and infantry were very effective at flanking the objective and neutralizing or eliminating Axis armored assets.
  • Command, tank-to-tank, and tank-to-infantry communications and coordination was very good to excellent throughout the battle. Axis tanks had good to excellent knowledge of enemy armor positions for nearly the entire battle.
  • Excellent challenge from the Allied forces requiring tip top tanking performance to match.
Cons:
  • Modifications to infantry movement speed have altered the effective armor strategies leading to more conservative and defensive playstyles which can be less exciting for some crewman.
  • Misidentification of Russian IS-1 tanks as T-34 tanks occasionally led to lopsided engagements and destruction of the tank, but taken as a learning experience for all crew.

Pros:
  • Comms have been improving
  • 7th man doctrine has been improving
  • Between Option Squad Allies and I we always had an OP in an attacking position
Cons:
  • Not getting clear sit rep when new members join and leave squad
  • keeping bodies in the hard cap until point is completely captured

Pros

  • Attendance
  • Comms/CoC orders
  • Leadership across the board
  • Performance of sections and troopers
Cons

  • Local comms for Axis hit or miss
Considerations
  • Maybe consider a time limit for each strong point to keep fresh/break stalemates/contribute to back and forth
  • Seeding rules possibly for first 10 minutes instead of setup phase

Pros:
  • Leadership delegated well and routinely asked for sit reps
  • Good callouts in command comms
Cons:
  • Defense became pretty disorganized once we were surrounded, but we managed to hold the point
  • Idea behind the OP was interesting, but wasn't fully realized. 50v50 where it's all cav always leads to fighting over a single point for 90% of the match

Pros:
  • Operation and battle were fun overall and all crew enjoyed themselves.
  • Armor was very effective in transitioning to different positions with the ebb and flow of the battle
  • friendly call outs were SPOT ON with nearly every vehicle and troop movement being passed on to our team from recon behind enemy lines
Cons:
  • Communications were strong but can always continue to be cleaned up
  • dday op wasnt on a dday map, otherwise great match!
