Pros:
  • OUTLAW stuff is a lot of fun and look forward to doing it hopefully in the future.
  • Had some killer points where we could perform hit and run tactics and ambush.
  • Solid coms within the team itself
Cons:
  • MK19 OP
  • Strykers are super OP it took us over 10 Demo Blocks, and 7 RPGs to just disable the Stryker.
  • We didnt get a chance to engage enemy infantry until the end of the mission where they were able to dismount from the Stryker and it was a solid engagement overall.
  • HIMARS hurts a lot

Pro:
Great team to work with
Good use of Medevac
React to IDF was on point

Con:
Lack of communication on platoon movement lead to Atlas teams being left behind multiple times

Pros:
  • Good Intersqad Communication
  • Made the best of a very bad situation
  • Dixon took up command very effectivly when i went down
Cons:
  • No CFF used
  • Frequency changes was very here there and everywhere need a protocol for this in future
  • 1st round FFE rocket arty wiped squad
  • Fog made use of both squad based drones and reaper drone asset useless
  • Very limited intel
  • Too many squads giving other squads orders conflictiing with 6s orders
  • Map markings caused confusion on order of objectives
  • alot of squads going off doing their own thing/staying behind
  • Ammo limiting

Pros:
  • Set up good movement plans to prevent counterbattery
  • Had some good discussions and banter
Cons:
  • Was only called in once, and it was by the Godfather. We understand that we were not a centerpiece, but we could have done so much more work with those HIMARs systems and could have helped with some of the difficult situations that were occurring. If assets are included, then there should be plans at the platoon level to utilize us to some degree or else the assets should be cut.

Pros
  • Good individual element reaction to contact and flexing to take demanding terrain
  • Viking-4 demonstrated good individual action
  • Excellent performance and completion of objective despite challenging factors
    • Player augmented OPFOR
    • Hostile Drones
    • Limited (Near Zero) visibility making for a lack of ISR
  • Good reaction to IDF
  • Unique Scenario

Cons
  • I was enveloped in developing and iterating the plan and got tunnel vision on that focus, not utilising support elements properly
  • Poor Comms in principle, bad reaction to switching nets. SOP should be ironed out to reduce confusion. I used two different methods, passing alternate channel and codeword via C-tab was best.
  • Some elements were slow to manoeuvre due to above.
  • Some break contacts were good, but some were fatally flawed. Get patients and medic to safety rather than treating in the killzone of an ambush.
  • Lack of ISR led to confusing planning from myself, especially in the first hour
  • Low numbers meant that 360 security suffered.

Element Callsign: Viking-7
Element Leader: SPC.Davis.D

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • Very fun operation against Non-AI Combat
  • Posed a challenge due to limited visibility
  • Atlas was very communitive within its fire teams
Cons:
  • Radio Frequency was confused once compromised
  • Atlas Fire team ended up being captured due to lack of security
  • Getting to bogged down on movement based on attachment
  • Atlas was treating Wounded in a hot environment instead of falling back to a safe environment after being ordered to due so
  • Atlas teams suffered casualties due to movement with platoon
  • Combat Coms were ineffective as it caused for much side comms than objective comms

Pros:
  • The troopers had fun getting shot at sometimes.
  • Lucander's Mk19 shredded anything it saw.
  • We Rescued Atlas!
Cons:
  • The job description did not match the Actual tasking.
  • Not much contact for ground troopers.
  • Low turnout sadly.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Second Lieutenant Sam.T
Corporal Masnec.G
Specialist Rodahl.S
Specialist Turn.J
Specialist Winters.R

Pros:
  • Good initiative within the team.
  • React to IDF was done quickly by the team.
  • When reconsolidation was done, it was effective and the teams handled the medical quickly.
  • Had a mascas.
Cons:
  • Had a mascas.
  • Not much medical work because of less reconsolidation and disproportionately thick stryker armor.
  • Team was captured because of exposed flanks after being disabled by RPG. Flank security is always important.
  • Communication up and down the chain was slow, especially for movement orders.
  • Strykers can take extreme amounts of damage before being completely destroyed. When we were captured, Outlaw was not able to demo the stryker until placing 6 demolition blocks. This was after receiving multiple RPG hits and 40mm grenade hits in the attack.
  • Multiple members experienced issues with signature validation that caused them to repeatedly disconnect. At worst, some members could only connect for a minute before getting kicked off.
