Pro:
Had public members in my team who listened well to any orders given.
Was able to give a 6 line pickup request to Bison 1 on LR 14 which was really good to do and would like to be able to do again as a medic.
Saw some surgical actions being done which is nice to see as it is not always seen enough.
Always nice to see Atlas 3 in field to provide sustainment.
Platoon seemed to have a good flow with some points slowly than other. Some holding points are good to allow full treatment and resupply by atlas.

Con:
Comms on 15 was tho had unnecessary comms on it at times with a lack of professionalism at times.
Was some over talk on radio at times but was just traffic from different teams at the same time which was just bad timing.
The drop was quite bad had to do 3 tries before was able to drop and on the 3rd drop the Jumpmaster gave the order for everyone to drop at once which resulted in myself being knocked out.

Pros:
  • Bad drop but it made it interesting and good recovery
  • Medal moments for the BTR's specifically the first two
  • Fun
  • Fun-with mini-guns
  • All atlas's and bandit-7 were on point in support.
  • inter-squad comms were good
  • no death
  • Bravo FT liked working together
  • We finally dropped Humvs with our airborne
  • generally communicative with PLT
  • Liberal use of Maaws (unexpected to the FTL)
  • Bandit-3, Atlas 3, thank you for recognizing my purple smoke for medical help
  • Zues, we appreaciate the attention to detail by making AI run in fear

Cons:
  • We went off SOP on the Air drop
  • rough drop
  • Scattered about 600 meters
  • We should have came back around and jumped instead of dumping everyone pass black light
  • we need to drill on follow on cargo drops
  • lag detracted from the fun
  • We stopped right at the last obj (upsetting mid murder)
  • A lot of flares at the first objective (unk if friendly, unk if enemy)
  • server issues at the near 3 hour mark

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Captain Stewart.B
Public Players:

Dr. Wierd

Pros:
  • Excellent comms/coordination with JTAC
  • Great mission design and concept of operations; hostage rescue was interesting change
  • No Acre issues
  • Overall fun for rotary team; kept busy and engaged
  • Public player, Dr. Wierd, was a valuable crew asset and good guy. If you see him around make sure he feels welcome.
Cons:
  • Number of objectives might have been a little too ambitious for map size and force composition
  • Frame drop during last 30-45 minutes was a bummer
  • One of our pilots had some keybind issues we almost solved, but not quite

Non-7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
  • N/A

Pros:
  • Inner-Squad Movement and Communication
  • Platoon Level Communication & Battle
  • Very Good Step-Off Time
    • One of the quickest times from load in to drop that I've seen
    • Plan clear and all leadership present lead to less confusion
  • Solid Contact
    • Consistent, not overwhelming
  • Contested Drop
    • Change of pace to normal un-contested
  • Bump Plan Success
    • Able to get men and equipment to the objectives without planned transportation
  • Mission Accomplished

Cons:
  • Confused & Unorganized Jump
    • Route markings, alt/course/etc, missing
    • Too many personnel in one chalk lead to drops past Black Light
    • Fatality caused by the above problem and missing of half the squad for the first 10 minutes
  • Vehicle Logistics
    • Logistics failure meant inadequate transportation (Bandit-2 Specifically)

Element Callsign: Titan Flight
Element Leader: Private First Class Berg.J

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Non-7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
  • N/A

Pros:
  • The Section got another chance to practice and perform C-130 static line paradrops. This is meaningful especially for our newer pilots, who are still learning things.
  • There were fixed wing slots, this is always welcome in our eyes.
  • While I am well aware that the severe failures in the drop sequence have a direct and negative impact on the rest of the mission's participants, these opportunities are a must-have for us. We do not get enough chances to perform paradrops and thus it is not trained nearly as frequently, but we will work out the kinks and make sure the next time the Airborne guys rely on us, we will be there to deliver.

Cons:
  • Issues with the static line paradrop:
    • We had newer pilots for the drop, thus they have yet to train on or practice static line drops.
    • Evident communications issues between the passenger deck and the flight deck. Must look into separate intercoms.
    • There was apparently an issue with the second attempt after the go-around for Titan 2, causing the passengers to eject at the wrong time.
  • Issues with the vehicle cargo paradrop:
    • Titan 1 and Titan 2 both experienced issues with the vehicle paradrop, causing the vehicles to appear in front of the aircraft and collide. This was later looked into with the mission controller, who informed us that he was aware of the issue but it did not occur in final testing of the mission file.

Additional Notes:
I apologize to everyone for the failures in the drop sequence. Most of you who have jumped out of our player-flown C-130s before may know that it usually goes a lot smoother than this, however there is always a need to constantly and consistently drill the more intricate details. While at times it may seem easier to employ an AI-flown C-130 for the drop, always remember that it removes an element from the playing field and there is no substitute to a human pilot behind the controls. We appreciate the opportunity as a section, and we thank you for understanding the cause of our issues.

Pros:
  • Great communication within the squad.
  • Everyone had fun.
  • Slayed a bunch of bad guys.
  • None of the hostages that we secured were killed.
Cons:
  • Logistics was very hectic, slowing down the pace of the Op.
  • We should ensure that our jumpmaster is qualified instead of dropping it onto someone's lap right before loading up onto the C-130's.

Pro:
  • Contact was consistent and forced the units to perform to their full potential. Accordingly, the medics had plenty of work.
  • Coordinating three ATLAS teams with the ability to heal was amazing. So much more flexibility and employed the medics far more efficiently.
  • Communications on 15 were clear, concise and professional.
  • Squad dispatches contained more information than usual increasing the to base my decisions.
  • Squad and Platoon Leadership was excellent.
  • THE RADIOS WORKED
  • Nice to see public players on ATLAS
  • Stanley.K performed well as ATLAS-3.
Con:
  • Medics observed consistent insufficient first aid leading to preventable red casualties and diminished combat effectiveness.
  • Jump was poorly executed.
  • Poor turn-out from ATLAS
