Pros:
  • Fun OP
  • Ag/Gunners worked really well together (no back blast, Cyclic fire to barrel swap w/ Talking guns)
  • After LZ good Tempo on movement through valley
  • Almost always had the platoon covered by one gun team or another

Cons:
  • We need to look at how weapons squads are utilized as a platoon, our maaws was an odd weapon choice and it was also given to 3rd squad.
  • We need either more pilots and helicopters or to fly a Chinook, we spent too much vital time on an LZ waiting for reinforcements
  • Our maaws team did not have too much fun with the gunship taking out every armor on the runway target.
  • After we hit the airfield the plt split onto two separate objectives. We separated out of supporting range and 4th squad had to run laterally to support both in contact squads.
  • Rapid break down and casualties once mass cass was called at the mosque, and south of the mosque at 1st and 6th position
  • The Blu on Blu, seemed like there was a huge miscommunication as to where squads were and what was cleared to fire upon.

Pros:

  • Good comms with medical squads throughout the OP
  • Good comms with squads to relay medical needs

Cons:
  • Massive friendly fire incident from Raider/Infidel, who ended up killing Bandit 6, Nearly killing Bandit 5, nearly killing myself, nearly the entirety of Bandit 1 and between 1/3 - 1/2 of bandit 4.
    • This is despite a large portion of the platoon wearing some form of IR equipment as requested

Pros:
  • Atlas had a ton of fun.
  • Atlas teams were able to get good amount of medical treatment done.
  • One life operations are always fun, adds more realism to an operation.
  • No Limited Arsenals for medics always good, Atlas were able to get all the medical equipment we needed to do our jobs.
Cons:
  • Blue on Blue.
  • Atlas Teams had patients running away from us to other locations 10 meters away causing us to put ourselves at risk. Patients refusing to cooperate with us, because they want to stay in the fight but are bleeding out. Bandit elements refusing to drop patients for Atlas to take over. (Atlas has priority of any patient.)
  • ENDEX was called too soon it felt like, Atlas were responding to the mass cas from the blue on blue and was on scene treating 3-4 patients and endex was called. All patients were Zeus healed which made our job worthless and we look forward to treating those mas cas situations. Maybe next time things can run for 5-10 more minutes until contact and situation gets handled.

Pros:

  • Decent movement in between objectives.
  • Good leadership from FTL all the way to 6.
  • Good OPORD and worldbuilding.
  • Very cool CSAR event.
  • IR strobes have weird interactions.
Cons:
  • As an AT-specialized squad, we were put way too far in the back.
  • The reins on 3 were way too tight and we got the feeling of consistently being an afterthought.
  • The platoon ended up being reactive rather than proactive and lost initiative as we progressed through the mission.
  • Had some slight ACRE issues.
