My fondest memory was around 2.5 years ago. Way back when I was part of B/3/C/1-7 serving as 11C before it was disbanded. It was during the Operation we were providing mortar fire to infantry few clicks away from us. We had some serious fire missions but after some time we had none, so someone suggested we should talk together, so we sat down in a circle there was about 10-15 people including Platoon Staff including Platoon Leader which was Vermeulen at the time if I recall correctly Platoon Sergeant Schulman, my SL McGehee and the rest of us folk. It felt like a family gathering no billets no ranks just normal people talking about life. It was a magical moment, we were family. If I could reverse time, I would go back to that moment once again
