Good afternoon everyone!
I am happy to say that after 6 long weeks, I am finally home. The transplant surgery on March 3rd came with some complications. What was supposed to be 5 days turned into a nightmare. I had complications galore and spent 2 weeks in ICU. The extended stay did a lot of good too. I was able to leave knowing my kidney is WORKING and healthy.
After two weeks of physical and occupational therapy, I'm able to get up and move around with a walker. I have Home Health coming to finish my therapy.
All very good news.
