Operation Maritime Resolve

Following repeated requests from regional and international partners, coalition forces have intervened to counter REDFOR attacks against critical shipping lanes in the Persian Gulf. Initial operations have successfully forced REDFOR maritime and ground forces to withdraw from several forward positions.

Despite these setbacks, REDFOR remains an active and capable threat. Continued attacks against commercial shipping endanger regional stability, international trade, and the global energy supply.

Coalition forces will now conduct decisive operations to eliminate REDFOR's remaining offensive capabilities and restore security throughout the region. Our objectives are to secure the shipping lanes, protect commercial traffic, safeguard the global oil supply, and establish lasting regional stability.

This threat will be confronted and brought to an end.

Mission

BLUEFOR will conduct coordinated carrier, land-based, and airborne operations to demonstrate coalition strike capability, establish maritime dominance, and eliminate REDFOR's ability to threaten Gulf shipping.

Primary Tasks

• Precision Maritime Strike — F/A-18C and F-15E: Locate and destroy priority REDFOR naval assets threatening coalition and commercial vessels.
• Air Interdiction — AH-64D and A-10C: Disrupt and destroy REDFOR ground forces, supply routes, and supporting infrastructure.
• Air Assault and Logistics — CH-47F and C-130J: Deploy ground forces and sustain coalition operations through personnel, equipment, and supply transport.
