Course Description

NCOA Phase I is the first leadership course non-commissioned officers attend during their careers. It is designed to teach troopers, from Private First Class to Sergeants, the fundamentals, roles, and responsibilities of being a Section Leader within the 7th Cavalry Regiment. The course is approximately 2 hours long. Access to the forums is required during class.

Student Prerequisites

Minimum time in service of 45 days
Minimum Rank Specialist or Above (exceptions can be made if the member is in an ASL/SL Position)
No negative action or restrictions within the last 3 months (pending or on record)
Motivation to help advance the 7th Cavalry as a leader and NCO
