Course Description

NCOA Phase I is the first leadership course non-commissioned officers attend during their careers. It's designed to teach troopers, specifically Specialists, the fundamentals of leading small groups of troopers. The course is approximately 2 hours long. The course teaches students the roles and responsibilities of leaders in the 7th Cavalry Regiment. Access to the forums is required during class.

Student Prerequisites

(must meet all prerequisites)

Minimum time in service of 45 days
Minimum Rank of Specialist (this may be waived if you are a SL/ASL)
No negative action or restrictions within the last 3 months (pending or on record)
Motivation to help advance the 7th Cavalry as a leader and NCO
