ARMA 3 | Campaign: Sumava Security | Operation Dead Air - 25NOV2023 @ 1900z

A large portion of the Sumava region of the Czech Republic has recently been in continuous political revolution, as a supposedly russian-backed political figure has repeatedly failed reelection under suspicious circumstances. Earlier this year, a revolutionary movement that calls themselves the Sumava Revolutionary Guard seized a large part of the region, starting with the Namest Airbase in the southeast and only expanded further from there. A large civilian militia named the Czech People's Militia has gathered to fight for the recovery of their region aligned with the Czech Armed Forces that are already stationed in the region. Together, they have managed a ceasefire and a stable line of contact.

Over recent weeks, the Line of Contact has seen a surge in activity. Skirmishes between the CPM and SRG have been common, and the Czech Government has called for NATO Intervention. 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment has been deployed to the area as part of the NATO forces engaging along the Line of Contact in the region.

Intel reports indicate the radar station on Maly Koznik is down for maintenance. HUMINT suggests civilian repair crews have been replaced with 'foreign specialists' to get the facility up and running.​
