Briefing
With the beachhead secured as well as further inland targets taken, CENTCOM has issued a COA to take the capital city of Kushkak due to the political climate within the region leaning towards instability. Currently we are aware of a heavy enemy presence within the city and are told that they are going to fight tooth and nail for every inch of the city. Current intel indicates light to heavy fortifications and higher ups are concerned with another Fallujah happening. To prevent this, we are tasked with taking the city as quickly as possible. 1st Battalion has issued a Battalion order with phase lines to conduct clearance of the city within three separate phases. We are conducting phase 1 today.
