Pros:
  • Good clean op
  • Used terrain defensively
Cons:
  • Armor was not used effectively, due mostly to map physics
  • Roaming AT squads kept us out of action most of the game they were able to roam around with little to no challenge

Pros:
  • Great holding defensively with an overwhelming force
  • Great Communication within the squad
  • Great work keeping eyes on Garris / OPs
Cons:
  • Far too much placed on our shoulders: Between Nodes (that disappear when point lost), Garris (the inability to place them within a defensive perimeter), Constant fending off harassing forces from all directions.
  • Difficult ability to get and keep supplies coming to the defensive point (mines, challenging map to drive on) which was key in putting up nodes and garris

Pros:
  • Great squad comms & movement
  • Stayed 'on-task', i.e. built our garrison, assaulted the strong point, constantly updating OPs, etc.
  • Rotated around as enemy defenses allowed us to get closer to the point.
Cons:
  • Once we lost the initial point we literally fought an uphill battle to regain it.

Pros:
  • Recon was effective at wiping enemy spawns
  • Worked well with command to establish deep attack garrisons
  • Generally good command coms
Cons:
  • Seemed slow to center point (though I was admittedly distracted with my own business at that time)
  • Failed to secure center objective when our big opportunity came. Should have dug in until cap was complete
  • I placed a garrison on the wrong side of the line while attempting to build fall back garrisons on the last point
  • We did not act quickly enough to ensure fall back garrisons on our last point
Observations:

In general we did well. I was in no position to judge the infantry action but from my perspective I feel as if our main issues were logistical in nature. Given that Command always has a thousand things to think about I feel we should designate a small logistical unit with a SL who understands the game, and Commands intent, to simply make sure certain aspects of the mission are handled without needing to be directed. This would include nodes, and defensive garrisons and would then extend to supply runs and fortifications once the other business has been attended to.
