Pros:
  • Quick assault on construction yard.
  • Good hold of Construction yard on phase 5's against the Quick React Force.

Cons:
  • Stressed movement for the first part of the FTX. Please don't push platoons speed over tactical movement.
  • Not fun for Viking platoon.
  • Limited manpower.
  • Spacing could be better.
  • Counter orders at phase 3 and 4, that made Viking 1 sit on a hill for almost 30 minutes, getting shot at, not being allowed to fire back.
  • Disruptive calls for fire, that could have been called earlier, hindering Viking platoons movement / assaults.
  • More use of area of responsibility.

Pros:
  • Low amount of causalities, good because you guys weren't getting shoot (not saying this a bad thing or a good thing)
  • Had CLS on 63.0
Cons:
  • low amount of causalities, bad because medical doesn't get to do there thing then (not saying this a bad thing or a good thing)
  • low numbers in Viking Platoon
  • the way medical was run was hard since Bravo and Charlie FTX overlapped so we had to run to Charlie's before the end of Bravo's and switch groups
  • Might have wanted to run Medics as a Helios unit instead so we would could cover the company and split between platoons as needed, instead of the specific platoon medics

Pros:
  • Good SBF Positions and Operating SBF
  • Good Communications
  • Good Movement to OBJs and SBF Positions

Cons:
  • Had our SBF plan changed last minute with not enough supplies
  • Had troopers disregarding orders
  • Had a few Arma Moments and a few hickups

Pros:
  • Had a lot of fun!
  • We reacted very well to requests to shift from our original plan and adapted to many different complex situations well. The SLs followed FRAGOs when I issued them.
  • CQB was done well from what I saw!
  • Really enjoyed having this cooridinated company FTX and I would like to see more of this in future or doing parrallel FTXs if we have the numbers. I think it made it very dynamic for the pilots supporting us both and for the medical/combat support teams.
  • Light & noise discipline was followed to the T by Pioneer Platoon! Although we had some support assets who came through with lasers on not actively marking targets.

Cons:
  • A lot of rushed movement due to the timeline, which created a lot of stress in moving across open areas without proper danger area movements.
  • Miscommunication or something occurred, which resulted in Helios digging down the encampment as we were about to start clearing through it.
  • Several disconnects.
  • Low manpower overall in the operation.
  • Radio etiquette/readbacks should be worked on for all of us, including myself.

Pros
  • Raider and chaos communication felt like it was working at the highest level of skill it ever has.
  • The communication between raider pic and co-pilot/gunner was on point.
  • Raider was able to make quick and easy movements to BP's and new positions with in a matter of a minute while communicating in where to go and stable hover to conduct fire missions.
  • Chaos handled situations perfectly with calling out contacts for CAS missions and following what information Raider was giving for troops on the ground.

Cons
  • No cons what so ever.

Notes
  • Raider one was able to stay in the air nearly the entire operation between bravo and charlie company's ftx even taking damage to the main rotor 2 separate times and staying on station despite the damage for atleast an additional 5 minutes before returning to base for repairs and rearming to then head back into the fight to conduct CAS missions and ISR tasking coming from chaos.

Pros:

  • Effective use of security when crossing different ODA's LDA's
  • Low casualties
  • My buffalo's chalk dismounted correctly from what I saw

Cons:

  • The numbers issue: the reason we separate FTX's is so we can have more than company and troop need to fill the roles of the squad to fulfill the commander's intent and vision for the FTX while also completing the training goals
  • Briefing went on way too long and the time before the chalk's lifted took a while which resulted in us taking longer for our objectives
  • Felt like we were constantly "Expediting" even though we had a very congested town to move through and hard clear, it would've been beneficial to either have a more open objective to give more free form movement and or smaller quick raids to maximize the amount of air assaults
  • The medical net isn't being utilized or there was a lack of experienced CLS's to run the role and the net itself. In situations where there are multiple -7's, make sure we use an Auxiliary net to reduce congestion

Pros:
  • Good communication between fire teams for coordination of movement and contacts.
  • Good OPORD Plan.
  • The FRAGOs and chaos were enjoyable.
  • Plenty of enemy contacts.
  • Good coordination between sections in game and over comms.
  • Coordination of efforts within the platoon continues to improve.
Cons:
  • Encampment disappeared.
  • large areas to cover and we were rushed through obstacles etc
  • More work on spacing, and use of other formations.

Pros:
  • Fantastic operation all around!
  • The coms were beautiful between everyone.
  • From the birds-eye view, the troops moved well, and coordination between everyone was stellar.
  • The pilots today were OUTSTANDING, hands down one of the best operations we were able to witness.

Cons:
  • For some reason, the radio range was not working correctly, so we had to improvise.
  • At the exfil of Charlie Company, the aircraft were on deck for way longer than needed.

Pros:
  • A well-designed and competently executed op from start to finish.
  • Great passenger discipline, resulting in minimum pilot distraction and perfect mounts and dismounts.
  • Comms with Godfather (Beiter.A), and comms in general, were on point.
  • Zeus support was provided promptly when required.

Cons:
  • Radio range issues caused Buffalo elements to lose contact with each other on several occasions.
  • More advanced formation maneuvers, such as synchronised landings, still need more work.

Element Callsign: Chaos-1
Element Leader: CPL.Mobius.T
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • All 12 stages of CAS was put in practice. Good Practical for both Chaos-1 and Raider-1
  • High level of discipline and swift responses from both Raider-1 and Sparrow-1
  • Fantastic performance from Bravo Troops, despite Chaos-1 deviating from Warhorse-6's Plan (Was late to briefing due to work)
  • No Air to Ground Blue-on-Blue Recorded.

Cons:
  • Radio range issues caused Chaos-1 to lose communication between Raider-1 and Chaos-1 during the Situation Update. This caused chains of events that led to Chaos-1 arriving late on Viking-1's position.
  • Rendering distance bottlenecked Raider-1 from being able to accurately identify targets.

Pros:
  • Quick assault on construction yard.
  • Good hold of Construction yard on phase 5's against the Quick React Force.
  • Good movement and reaction from Viking-1 through the FTX

Cons:
  • Stressed movement for the first part of the FTX. Had to expedite our movement which made us disregard several potentially dangerous situations
  • Not fun for Viking platoon overall.
  • A little bit slow reaction from Raider-1 whcih made assault slower which in turn slowed us in the assault on AO.

Pros
  • Excellent rear guard discipline during movement to substation.
  • Excellent movement through cover and concealment
  • Excellent CQB house clearing and communication
  • Excellent alpha / bravo squad movement and communication.
  • Bold action by a small and highly capable unit - 4 troopers fought like 9.
  • Fun as hell.

Cons
  • Improve comms awareness of calls from higher
  • Improve platoon ODA crossings / route / rushing to OBJ at the cost of protection
  • Overambitious series of objectives for the time available made for rushing and chaos on final objective including blue one blue and muddled AOs.
  • No dedicated sucurity / isolation element - we were lucky ENY QRF did not arrive over western AA bridge sooner. Feels like our platoon understanding of the collective task Raid needs more work, dedicated tasking to security element.
