Project Outline:
The past few weeks, Battalion staff and I have been working tirelessly with S-shops and Regimental staff to put forth a plan for the conversion of our RCON tool Battlemetrics to the feature rich Community Rcon tool. This proposal was approved by the GOA this morning, allowing us to begin! Our Goal is to replace RCON/Battlemetrics with CRCON on the 4 7Cav HLL Servers used by 2-7.
Project Duration Estimate: 4 Weeks
Phase 1: Development & Setup (Week 1-2)
Phase 2: Testing & Training (Week 3)
Phase 3: Rollout & Feedback (Week 4)
Answer: SoonTM.... No but seriously, we are looking to roll this out in the next few weeks, with hands on availability on a singular training server so we can work out all the kinks.
Question: What does this mean for you?
Answer:
Public Player - When we finish our rollout, you will be able to utilize features such as map votes, and commands such as !WKM. A list of commands will be pinned in our discord when they are finalized and live.
7Cav Memeber - You will gain access to the new tool and be able to use it the same way as you can battlemetrics. We are working in conjuction with S-shops such as MPs and S3 to make sure that any access that was had before will be given when we swap. Along with other features that are CRCON exclusive. Keep an ear out from your CoC with access details coming at a later date!
Question: What servers will this be on?
Answer: Eventually we want this on all of our servers, Private and public. To start with we will only have this on one of our private training servers until we get everything configured and smoothed out before we fully swap.
Question: Will this make you fork-lift certified?
Answer: Short answer no, but you should know that already, long answer .... no because I said so.

Phase 3: Rollout & Feedback (Week 4)
Goals: Launch RCON to the Battalion, monitor usage and gather feedback
- Final review and approval by Staff
- Implement Company Staff Training
- Deploy Communications about project being live
- Make necessary adjustments
