Specialist Nutting.J

Pros:
Very fun concept and operation
Incredible communication between the team, including calling out trucks, infantry, airdrops/airheads, garrys, etc
Nutting had a great time (one of his most enjoyed OPs) - playing a key role during the entire game

Cons:
No real cons to the OP as thoroughly enjoyed and would 100% attend again with minimal changes
To note, the OPORD seemed confusing, but I believe Sergeant First Class Mueller.H did a great job with the explanation so not a real con from me

Element Callsign: Allied Echo Squad
Element Leader: Lieutenant Colonel Strider.R
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist Angels.N
Private First Class Tawfik.Y

Pros:
  • Squad got the initial 3 trucks across the finish line for our team!
  • Match was very fluid, with the lower numbers it did not feel like a slog but was evenly balanced.

Cons:
  • Attendance needs to be majority finalized before the OP starts, coming in and still questioning where I was going to, ALONG with multiple duplicates. Getting into initial squads was confusing as leaderships/squad leaders didn't know who was going where.
  • I would try to increase setup period and during the setup period have trucks be allowed to go straight to their drop off instead of going around.
  • Needed more focus on trucks, which was hard to do with so few numbers. But if have to many in the match, then no trucks get through at all, its kind of a weird balance that you have to keep

Solids
  • Great comms with other squads.
  • Broke up the Jaegers into smaller squads to 7-man and we dominated with our AT-advantage.
  • Excellent FTLs (Rowe and Jay) made it all possible.
  • Great AT action from Mogensen.
  • Great Support action from Milkovic.
  • Strongpoint capture teams rocked it during the 2nd half of the match, allowing us to expand our reach.
  • Won 8 to 6.
  • Great Jaeger drivers like Heinz and Paulls (and also Hazen!) brought home the bacon while driving trucks.

Improvements
  • OPORD language was very technical, could have been simplified.
  • Match encourages the usage of one/two squads staying on vanilla-ish gameplay for most the match, could use reworks so everyone can participate. Two ideas: 45 minute matches, one on each side; or removing the strongpoint fight, and expanding the AO of the truck gameplay (depending on #s)

Element Callsign: Axis Commander
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Swanson.B
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
None

Pros:
Match plan was followed. Match start wasn't perfect but we did start on time and captured the point first.
Great offensive force, gun fight were won. We got to capture the two other points very quickly.
Capturing the points allowed us to drop an airhead close to the trucks and extract 3 of them.
Very fun concept, wouldn't change anything.

Cons:
Lacked defense on drive zone. I only assigned 2 squads of 2 troopers. Should have assigned more.
I didn't drive enough truck to the enemy HQ.
It was very hard to plan ahead of the operation since i didn't have everybody placed and i only had 2 assigned SL for 6 squads up. I am used to use the palcements of the attendance, I was told we could move people around the way we wanted at the last minutes but i used the lines up that was on the sheet.
