COMBAT AFTER ACTION REPORT

Element Callsign: Atlas-1
Element Leader:
Corporal McAllen.J

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Private Swan.J
Corporal Stewart.AJ

Pros:

  • Plenty of medical tonight
  • Got to engage a Squad+ of EI at CCP
  • Comms internally and on Platoon went well
  • Security at CCPs were superb

Cons:

  • Lack of personnel made it hard to define frontlines and have mutual support
  • Op felt short tonight
  • Red/Black tags will have to be redefined because of the new medical changes (AKA Carry/Dragging is not viable anymore)

COMBAT AFTER ACTION REPORT
Element Callsign: SIERRA-6
Element Leader: Captain Narramoor.A

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Corporal Shepard.S

Pros:
  • Mission ran at 90 minutes, was really well paced with no 'tacked-on' elements to stretch out runtime.
  • CPL.Shepard.S very dependable crewman, us working together gave me a really good experience I haven't had in a long time :)
  • Radio comms were very streamlined
  • Approach on AOI 2 could have been improved by not going through the winding road/tree coverage, otherwise exceptional planning
Cons:
  • Slow orientation at start
  • Low turnout, we did a lot as a platoon despite this.
