Pros
  • Good comms with 7
  • No black casualties under care
  • Lots of work to do
  • Bit of a meatgrinder at times...love the challenge
  • Solid concept
Cons
  • BLUFOR Tracker was messed up
  • Couple potential ACRE issues
  • Starting push was rushed and not performed as planned

Pros
  • Very Fun mission that was on good scale not too big not too small
  • Working alongside infantry was a very good experience
  • Good choice of tanks. Having remote controlled pinpoint accurate 50 cal for commander allowed for shooting down helicopters easily and makes Commander slot much more enjoyable
Cons
  • BLUFOR tracker was not showing units, nor it allowed to mark targets
  • ACRE/Intercom issues.

Pros:

  • Smooth squad operations for the first outing as a squad.
  • Everyone had fun overall.
  • Good movement as a fireteam.
  • Good use of stryker for assaulting.

Cons:

  • Got arma'd early on, lost mission critical equipment
  • Needed more members in our squad.
  • Had a bag frag unfortunately cause casualties.
  • Op felt frantic, frequently dismounting only to immediately remount and relocate

Pros
  • Hugely appreciate the Colonel and the SGM taking over as I attempted to deal with ACRE issues
  • Crew very effective, even despite effectively two-manning, many hard and soft target kills
  • Great crew comms, cooperation within the tank
  • The new "B" button FLIR view mode is excellent, sharp and clarity is phenomenal
  • TC's CROWS .50 cal was an excellent tool for both navigation, target spotting and engaging infantry and helicopters
Cons
  • I was completely ineffective as TC, had to relinquish command due to being unable to hear all or some of the radio traffic, as well intermittently losing even internal comms with the crew
  • I need to get into as many tank practices and courses as I can to completely refresh the skills and knowledge and regain TC capability
  • the "B" button FLIR worked only when zoomed out or zoomed in on the last 2 stages - no intermediary setting and the vanilla FLIR still in the way between them - is it possible to get rid of that vanilla FLIR mode altogether? The "B" one works much better.
  • lots of confusion on those of LR 06 comms that I've heard or heard the crew talk about - people stepping over one another, losing brevity, reporting unnecessary stuff to Saber-4, etc. - could've been cause by partial / complete loss of comms with select units, similar to mine?

  • Everyone had fun overall.
  • Great adaptation to new challenges as they came.

Cons:

  • First Aid and basic medical was poorly executed by individual members on their teammates
  • Drone use fell short and poor execution of target markers.
  • Difficulty with getting active responses between command net

Pros:

  • Good engagement and combined arms coordination
  • Fluidity of movement allowed for good tempo and achieved all objectives relatively quickly
  • Communication, reports and all other transmissions for SABER were good
  • Successful utilization of the new M1A2 SEPV III CROWS to spot targets and laze enemies for estimated range
  • Good crew communication and positioning of SABER-2 for maximum effective support to friendly ground elements
  • TC's CROWS .50 cal was an excellent tool for both navigation, target spotting and engaging infantry without having to turn out when enemy forces got close

Cons:

  • SABER communication broke down as the Operation continued which led to gaps in communications and slow updates on statuses
  • Connection issues and other technical problems were a hassle to some members
  • SABER-2's Overwatch spot was of poor visibility and as such had to constantly dismount from their position and jockey left or right for better sight, leaving our position unprotected at times
  • ACRE issues led to some element miscommunication
  • BLUFORCE tracker did not update properly

Pros:

  • Excellent comms all round
  • Fantastic work from the entire squad using Mortars
  • Great reaction to the IDF we took, rapid displacement
  • Effective cover from sierra
  • Good work communicating a basic attack with V3

Cons:

  • Staggeringly low FPS at times
  • Equipment got ArmA'd and we had to be given an arsenal to get it back
  • When FRAGOing plans of attack, areas of responsibility should be issued so friendly forces do not cross over firing lines.

Pros:
  • Good squad communication
  • Good IDF drills
  • Alpha and Bravo cohesion was excellent, teams worked together to support each other
  • AT engagements were very effective
Cons:
  • Lack of a pre-plan on the fortified position led to some confusion, possible blue-on-blue
  • ACRE and CTAB issues- possibly relation to recent updates for both
  • Platoon net was a bit cluttered, updates didn't always get to 6 (i.e. told 5 we were withdrawing drone due to low batt while 6 was KIA and 6 was never told)
  • Lots of sever side lag- unknown cause

Pros
  • Went smoothly despite my lack of experience and thanks to the leadership of the other TCs.
  • Infantry was very responsive and easy to work with.
  • The CROWS made ranging targets and dealing with lesser threats much easier.
  • Saber-3 and 4 performed well as an independent wing.
Cons
  • ACRE radio was a bit buggy.
  • BLUFOR tracker wasn't properly displaying other Saber units, making theater awareness more difficult.
  • Had to make do with only one crewmate

Pros:
  • All troopers had fun and enjoyed opportunity to roll out as a platoon.
  • The squad as a whole worked well together, and despite choatic and overwhelming odds, successful achieved the mission within 1HR 30MINS.
  • Squad showed overall effectiveness by collectively engaging and neutralising 2x technicals, 2x BTRs and 4 squads of infantry at minimum.
  • The overall effectiveness and professionalism of our sierra crew was on point throughout, surviving entirety of mission.
  • Despite being 50/50 viking, and infilled members from other branches, the squad kept good cohesion throughout what was a tough mission.
  • Initiative and fireteam movement was well executed.
  • Compound assault and clearing was on point from squad.
  • Communication of plan through entire COC allowed all troopers to have a good understanding of what we were doing and looking to achieve.
  • Fast setup time allowed for convoy stage in roughly ten minutes.
Cons:
  • Due to the overall scale of the mission, and having to cater for SABRES/4 squads of VIKING, it led to a heavily saturated enemy force.
  • The mission paramaters led to a hectic environment that made it difficult to implement the tactics and topics we had been working on the past month.
  • A heavy and dense terrain meant heavily reduced sight lines.
  • Due to the limitations of the AI they could see through trees and bushes that we could not.
  • Throughout the majority of the operation we had a heavy casualty rating with multiple respawns. This reduced the fun slightly out of the mission with a larger shift towards consolidating, rather than scouting/planning/assaulting as first communicated.
  • Strange and immersion breaking developments throughout mission. Including spawns and deployments by enemy.
  • The overall MOB attack was slightly hasty with the main assaulting force unsure of what we were instigating.
  • Troopers reported a few lag spikes and framerate drops.
  • For the next FTX it would be brilliant to have the overall saturation of enemies in one area turned down slightly. A tempo that is up and down or progressive, rather than all go the moment a shot is fired.
