Pros:
Good amount of work
Team had fun
Saved a couple of guys that should have been black tags
OP started off great

Cons:
BRDM spawned on Atlas-1s position leading to 3 members being KIA, definitely soured the mood of the team for the rest of the op
OP devolved into complete chaos with a breakdown of comms and cohesion
Just general indecision during the pullback
Quite a few instances of frame drops and lagging across the team

Pro:
Lots of Medical
Slow and fast pace
Good amount of contact for Atlas
Quite overall enjoyed
Good amount of surgery
TL saved Platoon Leader from trying to save Misfit 2 from the middle of the road then dropped them at friendly lines and proceeded to drive to Misfit 2 to save.

Con:
Some fumbling near the end.
About a couple of black tags which is unstable due to the amount of injuries and dealing with KAT.
Platoon felt very blocky in placements in the town.
Phase lines were being passed by EI which resulted in Contact with Atlas.
Another Atlas team was wiped by a BDRM
Server issues at the start which resulted in a crash which was a shame but good to get out of the way.
Platoon Pullback was done very very poorly which resulted in alot of people being left behind.
Platoon Leader went by themself to try and rescue Misfit 2 which was saved by Atlas 2 TL from middle of road in gunfire.

Pros:
  • Great movement by fireteams, excellent clearing and cohesion
  • Great intensity and action, lots of engagements
  • Personally my first SL role within 7Cav, very enjoyable

Cons:
  • Failed to break contact and pull back when instructed
  • 2 fireteams seemed thin to cover our entire squad lane when we're expecting enemies to push through and backstab us
  • Overwhelming enemy force and IDF caused black tags (part of a mission designed to lose)

Pros:
Good time, lots of contact
Amping up to heavier enemy contact was good
CQB through lane was smooth at the begging of the op
Squad worked well and communicated well

Cons:
The last 20-30 minutes felt like nothing was really being accomplished
We were hit by a suicide bomber. Causing a mass casualty event with multiple black tags in the squad including the SL. After this things began to go down hill for the squad.
The squad was disappointed that we ended up not hitting the secondary objective at the end of the AO.

Pros:
  • As always, top-notch communication with CHAOS (Corporal Kastor.K), who also took the time to provide me with valuable one-on-one feedback after the op.
  • The mission seemed well planned and I like the fact that it wasn't a success. You can't win them all, as they say, and I feel that this adds a bit more realism to the campaign.
  • Switching to the A-10 and actually doing some damage to help the ground units was satisfying.
  • Great work by the mission controller, who promptly resolved technical glitches we had with the drones and the radio.
  • Being able to watch the Zeus stream ex post facto really helps me understand what's actually going on on the ground - great idea!
Cons:
  • Laser designation from the ground would have been nice, although I understand that this time the circumstances made that considerably difficult.
  • Towards the end of the op, it looked like the enemy attempted to move some of the hostages to a different location, which I thought was an excellent plot twist, but then it was never followed through.

Pros:
  • Good mission, good concept. Definitely had fun.
  • Looked and sounded like Ground Forces had tons of action.
  • Great job by my sole crew member, Crew Chief Peterson.L
  • Fantastic comms with Misfit-5.
  • Proper resupply crates.
Cons:
  • Unfortunate that exfil of the HVT and/or pilots did not get accomplished.
  • FARP was extremely close to the town... literally right beside it so realistically, it seemed way too forward.
